Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula first came to prominence in Saudi Arabia in May 2003. There is absolutely no proof that Gitmo had anything to do with the group’s formation. The first operational leader of AQAP was killed in June 2003.

Jay McKinnon, a self-described Department of Homeland Security-trained document specialist, has implicated himself in the production of fraudulent Hawaii birth certificate images similar to the one endorsed as genuine by the Barack Obama campaign, and appearing on the same blog entry where the supposedly authentic document appears. The evidence of forgery and manipulation of images of official documents, triggered by Israel Insider's revelation of the collection of Hawaii birth certificate images on the Photobucket site and the detective work of independent investigative journalists and imaging professionals in the three weeks since the publication of the images, implicate the Daily Kos,...

Driven by pressure from the Left, including the editors of the Virginian Pilot – a New York Times wanna be in Tidewater Virginia – the prosecutors of the Blackwater guards set their victims up for prosecution despite evidence that was exculpatory. To get an idea of the kind of editorial pressure that was put on the prosecutors, go to the Virginian Pilot Online website and search for “Blackwater.” The headlines that pop up cover eight pages and virtually demand that this “evil” “private army” and “conservative Republican” organization be stamped out with the utmost prejudice. Blackwater: Inside America's Private Army...

A few months ago, anyone suggesting that Republicans might be able to retake the Senate – where they currently have 40 seats compared to the Democrats’ 58 plus two Independents who caucus with Barack Obama’s party – would have been liable to be certified insane. But with the shock decision of the Senator Byron Dorgan, Democrat of North Dakota, it’s beginning to go from impossible to long shot. Some 34 seats are up for grabs, 18 Republican and 16 Democratic. The GOP needs to pick up 11 seats to secure a majority. I certainly wouldn’t bet the farm (or even...

Iran has the unmitigated gall to not only reject the United Nations enrichment offer, but to threaten the world that they will move to further enrich their own uranium if the West does not capitulate and accept the Iran Plan within one month without delay or amendments. Iran puts up this façade of strength all the while the streets of most of its cities are filled with demonstrators calling for an end to their governance by the Mullahs and their puppet, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, pushing for massive reforms. Even more offensive is the brutality with which these demonstrators are being...

VIDEO: On November 4, 2008, we gave you power in the House, the Senate, and in the Oval Office. We voted for hope. We voted for change, that balance would be restored, that the world would be safer, that our families would be stronger, and that our future would be brighter. We trusted you, so we elected you. We regret it!

There's all sorts of speculation and back of the envelope math being done right now on the Massachusetts Senate special election and whether Republican Scott Brown might be able to pull off a surprise there. Dave Weigel reports that Rasmussen is going to be polling there tonight so that should give us a better idea but I thought it would be worth taking a look at what would happen if things played out in Masschusetts similarly to Virginia, which is a sort of Democratic worst case scenario. The Virginia exit poll showed the folks who turned out there voted for...

Rep. Ron Paul (R-Tex.) took a shot at Dick Cheney last night, saying the former Vice President wasn't in any position to be criticizing President Obama. "Well, I think he had his eight years and he's caused a lot of trouble for our country and he perpetuated a war in Iraq that was unnecessary and wrong-headed," Paul said of Cheney on CNN's Larry King Live. "So I would say that it would be best he not be so critical right now."

The irony of taxpayer money being used to disparage a group whose platform includes a call for the government to stop wasting public funds is something that surely gave our propaganda czars a chuckle. The left continues to try to alienate and isolate the Tea Party movement using all quarters to attack. We have seen news outlets from CNN to MSNBC jump on the “teabag” bandwagon to ridicule Americans for their fiscal beliefs

Palm Beach—On Wednesday, January 6, 2010, all hell is expected to break loose at the Southern EIB Command Post in Palm Beach, Florida, as liberal suicide bombers prepare for Rush Limbaugh’s return to radio.

Paul Sims, of the Starkville Daily News, reported from the Starkville Rotary Club meeting on comments from Professor W. Martin Wiseman director of the John C. Stennis Institute of Government at Mississippi State University. Could Gov. Haley Barbour share the Republican ticket with former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin in the 2012 presidential election? It’s a theory Mississippi State University political science professor Marty Wiseman suggested to Starkville Rotary Club members as he spoke to them Monday. [...]

Mr. Hume may have been speaking metaphorically, but his words were literal and they were the perfect explanation as to why he is now being vilified. Those words bear repeating and understanding: “It has always been a puzzling thing to me. The Bible even speaks of it. You speak the name of Jesus Christ, and I don’t mean to make a pun here, but all hell breaks loose.”

All indications are that Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi will skip the formal conference committee process to reconcile the Senate and House versions of Obamacare but instead will reconcile their difference through closed-door negotiations. But back in 2006 Harry Reid stood on the Senate floor and complained about legislative dealmaking outside of the formal conference committee process when the Senate was discussing asbestos legislation. He also whined about the use of "managers' amendments" to create legislative deals. Reid of course used "managers amendments" to slip in all of those secret deals in the Senate version of Obamacare. But back in...

Sorry Mr. President--I just don't forgive you. How dare you think you can demonize one of the most moral nations in history--and get away with your crimes. How dare you blame Jews for your pathetic world view, which gave credibility to the most evil characters on the face of the planet. Your apology is worthless. President Jimmy Carter will undoubtedly be known as the worst president in American history. He allowed the Shah of Iran to fall and the evil Khomeni to gain power, giving Muslim extremism the fuel to spread like cancer throughout the world--ultimately leading to 9/11. His...

With enactment of their policies, liberals never fail to accomplish the opposite of their stated goal. It’s been said before, and here’s more proof. Richard Cloward and Frances Piven are known for their strategy to overwhelm the welfare state with impossible demands in order to establish a crisis that would eventually bring down the entire government. At the point of collapse, an imaginary “better” government would be able to take over. Of course, their agenda was nothing more than another leftist scheme to establish a utopia… So they activated themselves and trained many underlings—one of whom now occupies the White...

Chris Dodd has has a pretty bad 18 months, with each passing day Dodd's hold on the Senate seat he has held for almost 30 years grows more tenuous. As the Chair of the Senate Banking committee he deserves a share of of the blame for the economic mess we are in now, on top of that, are the recent scandals in which he has been involved. September of 2008 saw the disclosure that the Chairman of the Senate Banking Committee Received TWO VIP Loans from Sub-Prime Lender Countrywide Inc. The Loans were at favorable interest rates. Senator Dodd claimed...

Here is video of Chris Matthews saying that all of the "teabaggers" are white, while talking with Mark McKinnon...(Video)Matthews said, "they're all white, all of them, every single one of them is white." Mark McKinnon agreed with Matthews saying "I think that's a fair characterization, predominately no question."

Abdul Alim Musa, is Imam of the Islam Mosque in Washington, DC, and an Islamist who believes that American Muslims are weak-minded because they don't believe in Jihad: "… [T]hey tell the weak-minded Muslims here in America, 'Don't talk about jihad.' One of the big leaders here got up and said, 'There's no jihad in Koran.' I say, He must be reading a different book, than we read, cause jihad, mujahadin … In fact Allah says in the Koran if can remember, [several words in Arabic]. This is what it says in the original language. What does that mean? That...

It should be clear to anyone with a mind and two eyes that this president and this Congress do not have our interests at heart. They are implementing this strategy on an unprecedented scale by flooding America with a tidal wave of poisonous initiatives, orders, regulations and laws. As Rahm Emmanuel said, “A crisis is a terrible thing to waste.” The real goal of “healthcare” legislation, the real goal of “cap and trade,” the real goal of “stimulus” is to rip the guts out of our private economy and transfer wide swaths of it over to government control. Do not...

With the holidays officially behind us, the 2010 mid-term election season is officially open for business. Everyone who thinks Senator Byron Dorgan (D-North Dakota) is a lock to win re-election in November, take one step forward. Not so fast! In the first political bombshell of the new year, the junior senator from the Peace Garden State has stunned the beltway and his own party by announcing he will not seek re-election in the fall. continued

The best hope we have to defeat Obamacare is to help elect Scott Brown for Senate in Massachusetts in the special election being held there on January 19th! Get more information Here, Here, Here, and Here This morning he came out and said, "I endorse the use of waterboarding and. . send Abdulmutallab to Gitmo." Sounds like my kind of dude. Pass this on. Wouldn't this be something if. . .

Liberals use three main arguments as to why we should not use profiling to stop terrorism. One, they raise the spectres of Timothy McVeigh, the Unabomber and others as examples that spending more time monitoring and checking out those who are of Semitic descent or from the Middle East or those whose passports show that they are from terrorist hotspots, and less time monitoring or harrasing little old ladies, will not work. They use the exception to the rule (McVeigh, the unabomber and others) to try and rule out using profiling. This is faulty reasoning to the core, given that...
