  • Obama Post-Election: More Hurt Ahead For American Workers, Business Owners, Taxpayers

Will American workers and business owners demand a government that serves them rather than enslaving them – or is it already too late? It’s noteworthy that the President is saving his surprise until after this year’s elections. And it’s difficult to know if he can be stopped, regardless of who wins in November. Yet when two major, long-standing American media outlets – one leaning to the left, the other leaning to the right – both publish news and analysis detailing lies and corruption with President Barack Obama’s plan to grant amnesty to tens of millions of illegal immigrants, actual American...

Over at Huffington Post Robert Greenwald discovers that Obama has been killing children with drones During my recent trip to Pakistan as part of our upcoming documentary film, Drones Exposed, I was struck most by the stories told to me by children who had experienced a U.S. drone strike firsthand. The impact of America’s drone war in the likes of Pakistan and Yemen will linger on, especially for the loved ones of the 178 children killed in those countries by U.S. drone strikes. War Costs’ latest video (with accompanying report) brings attention to the children who have died as a...

SAN DIEGO — The man who planned to be president wakes up each morning now without a plan. Mitt Romney looks out the windows of his beach house here in La Jolla...He devours news from 2,600 miles away in Washington about the "fiscal cliff" negotiations, shaking his head and wondering what if. Gone are the minute-by-minute schedules and the swarm of Secret Service agents. There's no aide to make his peanut butter and honey sandwiches. Romney hangs around the house, sometimes alone, pecking away at his iPad and emailing his CEO buddies, who've been swooping in and out of La...

So where do we go from here? The election is over and the sun came up. In a little while I am off to my little art gallery downtown, I'll open my doors and wait for folks to come in to buy my art. I know the economy is no better off today that it was yesterday, I know the residents of this area of Illinois have no more money now that they did twenty four hours ago, so I might just be waiting in vain for those sales, I might be sitting alone today with no one to talk...

Post-election, Barack Obama is sounding much less combative towards the Republican opposition. In his first comments on this morning's "good" jobs report he's talking about tax cuts for business (small businesses, specifically) and opening up markets abroad. He didn't slam the opposition once. And of course, he also wants to see more investment in infrastructure and in R&D, etc, though those are much less likely.

President Obama will hold a press conference Wednesday to offer his response to the mid-term election. The news conference, announced Tuesday morning, shows the White House does not intend for the dust to settle from Tuesday's midterms before trying to define the narrative for the next Congress. Polls show Democrats face an avalanche of losses, with Republicans poised to take back the House and make significant gains in the Senate. Obama will speak to the press early Wednesday afternoon. Before taking questions, Obama is likely to offer an opening statement calling for Republicans

Overcoming post-election stress traumaWednesday, 02 June 2010 12:00 AM Ma. Andrea S. Tirazona When the early results of the recently concluded elections started trickling in, I felt a rush of excitement as I saw the numbers tipping in Noynoy’s direction. On the other hand, I was shocked at Binay’s early lead. Before anything else, let me point out that this is not an article as to whether or not Noynoy was the right choice for president, nor is this a debate as to whether or not the election was a clean and honest one. This is about seeing things from...

The election is over. Senator Obama has turned into President Obama. The country has voted, the world has gasped, and the Republican Party has been dealt a major blow in years. It’s over. Is there anything left? Yes. You. And the millions of Americans who yesterday didn’t give their votes to Obama. Think about it: years of unpopular Republican presidency, George Bush’s approval ratings hitting all times low, years of war, the global financial crisis, huge troubles with economy, and . . . McCain gets 46% of popular vote against Obama’s 52%.

Freepers, do not be so disheartened by yesterday's election results for the Good Lord has allowed this to happen for a reason. This election was not the end of anything; it was just one major battle. And we lost but we must keep fighting in the ways we know best. I am a capitalist living in a socialist-nanny state called Ohio, aka O-Heil-o by many of the residents. Ohio has been socialist for at least 10 years,IMO. So, here's my idea: we wage an embargo against the socialist pig states(the Obummer states)or a boycott, if you prefer that term. You...

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert began a U.S. visit on Sunday, seeking from President George W. Bush a post-election picture of U.S. policy toward Iran and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. "It is the right time...to exchange views with the president on what is expected in the coming two years (of his term)," Olmert said before leaving Israel. He meets Bush on Monday. "The main subjects will be the situation in the Middle East and the Iranian issue," Olmert told reporters, referring to Tehran's nuclear programme which the United States says could lead to the development of atomic weapons.

America is suffering from a bunch of P.E.S.T.’s. Victims of Post Election Selection Trauma, or more commonly know as crazy liberals who have decided to hate democracy because George Bush beat them twice. Shortly after the November election, the American Health Association identified this affliction in Boca Raton, Florida, with some of its symptoms being: “feelings of withdrawal, feelings of isolation, loss of appetite, sleeplessness, nightmares, and pervasive moodiness, including endless sulking.” How Rob Gordon, Executive Director of the AHA, was able to differentiate these symptoms from the normal behavior of most liberals I have no clue, but none the...

Thanks to Leslie Morris of Birmingham, who first shared it with us. **** The flood of American liberals sneaking across the border into Canada has intensified in the past week, sparking calls for increased patrols to stop the illegal immigration. The re-election of President Bush is prompting the exodus among left-leaning citizens who fear they'll soon be required to hunt, pray and agree with Bill O'Reilly.
