The Washington Post reports three different judges ordered Glenn Tyndell to "immediately surrender all firearms" after they found his wife, ex-wife and child needed protection. Prince George's County Sheriff's Col. Darrin C. Palmer says Tyndell had told deputies he'd turn himself in Tuesday. He didn't show.

Bob Ross, president of the Maryland Prince George’s County NAACP, was on the show to discuss his efforts to lobby against Prince George County’s efforts to create two high schools specifically for recent immigrants and dedicated to teaching students English. For virtually his entire eight years as Prince George’s County executive, federal authorities say, Jack B. Johnson sat atop an expansive and lucrative pay-for-play fiefdom. According to a federal indictment unsealed Monday charging Mr. Johnson with corruption, the former county executive was captured on a wiretap advising another official on just how profitable politics in Prince George’s County could be. “Two years you got a couple hundred thousand dollars, you know, cash, then you can go and … get your little retirement,” Mr. Johnson said, according to authorities. “You know what I mean?” Mr. Johnson, 61, of Mitchellville, Md., was...

The arrests are part of a larger investigation of corruption in Prince George's. The nine arrested Monday were taken into custody in the early morning hours during an operation that involved 150 law enforcement officers executing as many as a dozen...
