  • An Obama presidency will set race relations back decades (2008 pre-election article)

It will get very tiresome. It will get so tiresome that whites who would never have a racist thought in their minds will begin to have unkind thoughts of Barack's racemongering supporters. And this will be reflected upon every black person in the country. Blacks will have their hate-whitey feelings further entrenched (just as they did during the O.J. trial) and whites will find frustration with the foolish, blind support of a president that is obviously a failure. And for those who truly are racists, the debacle of an Obama presidency will give them the excuse to say that they...

Speaking at the National Press Club in late September, black pastor Bishop E. W. Jackson unapologetically said it was time for black Americans to take a stand for what is right and called for a mass exodus from the Democrat Party due to the "irreconcilable conflict" between what the Democrat Party represents and their faith in God. A former Virginia candidate for US Senate says that Democrats intentionally use racial fear because they think African Americans can be manipulated. Bishop E.W. Jackson, President of STAND (Staying True to America‚Äôs National Destiny) says that Vice-President Biden‚Äôs comment, ‚ÄėThey‚Äôre gonna put y‚Äôall back in chains,‚Äô‚ÄĚ is not a gaffe. Jackson says: This is part of an intentional strategy to frighten black Americans. The first hint of this was a Democrat sponsored training class by Maya Wiley, President of The Center For Social Inclusion, given in May to House members. The class was to teach them how to decipher the...
  • Black Like Us: The Race Clownery of Obama-Biden

Looks like Vice President Joe Biden has been taking extracurricular Democratic jive-talking lessons. The results of condescending liberals' cynical racial pandering attempts are, as always, seismically cringe-inducing. At a campaign event in Danville, Va., the gaffetastic veep dropped his g's and picked up a bizarre twang in front of an audience of black voters. Middle-Class Joe swapped his Home Depot apron for an A.M.E. preacher's robe and sermonized about the big, bad GOP. Romney's "gonna let the big banks once again write their own rules," Biden shouted. "Unnnn-chain Wall Street," he exclaimed with pulpit bravado. "They're gonna put y'all back...

Few words have been more popular in recent years than "diversity." And few concepts have been more destructive. Destructive of our social fabric, destructive of our moral well-being, destructive of our ability to make judgments. In schools, non-profits and government programs across the nation, diversity has been held up as a great and noble prize. Some objective to be fought for and given prominence. It has become the top priority in institutions from colleges to corporations. And it has become a philosphy handed down like the word of god from the pulpits of education, business and government. And yet it...
  • Republicans and Democrats Did Not Switch Sides On Racism

As a result of unrelenting efforts by Democrats to shift their racist past onto the backs of Republicans, using the mantra: "the parties switched sides", a lot of people have requested an article addressing this issue. It does not make sense to believe that racist Democrats suddenly rushed into the Republican Party, especially after Republicans spent nearly 150 years fighting for black civil rights. In fact, the racist Democrats declared they would rather vote for a "yellow dog" than a Republican because the Republican Party was known as the party for blacks.
  • Zimmerman Prosecutors In Huge Screw-Up

AUGUST 9--In an embarrassing screw-up, Florida prosecutors today accidentally distributed a post-mortem photo of Trayvon Martin as well as copies of George Zimmermanís college records, material that Florida law considers confidential and exempt from disclosure. The documents were inadvertently included in supplemental discovery records distributed this morning by prosecutor Angela Coreyís office. The material was sent to a variety of media outlets, including TSG, that have paid fees to receive discovery provided by the government to Zimmermanís lawyer.

President Obama appeals to women by pushing the issue of access to contraceptives, while Mitt Romney accuses him of watering down welfare reform ó an issue that tends to stir up feelings about race among whites. With the election still locked in a near-tie, the politics of gender and race have moved into the spotlight of the presidential campaign. For most of the summer, the debate has focused on two things: the state of the economy and Mitt Romney's background in business. But in recent days, the two campaigns have added new, sharp-edged issues to the mix.
  • Zimmerman will seek 'stand your ground' hearing

Attorneys for the neighborhood watch volunteer charged in the death of an unarmed teen say they'll seek a "stand your ground" hearing that could lead to criminal charges being dismissed. A statement posted Thursday on the website for George Zimmerman's legal team says evidence released by prosecutors shows "clear support for a strong claim of self-defense."
  • Primary Colors - Once again, the Democratic races were about race

The real election in the city of St. Louis occurred last Tuesday when Missouri held its Democratic primary. Six primary races pit white Democrats versus black Democrats, including high-profile races for U.S. Congress, the state senate, three state house races and sheriff. Like most major cities, the general election here is a foregone conclusion. Republicans haven't been a force in city politics for more than a half-century. In fact, you'd have to time-travel back to the misty mid-1940s before you could find a Republican occupying the mayor's office. St. Louis's last GOP mayor was a lawyer named Aloys Kaufmann, who...

State leaders should revise school testing and funding, extend health care coverage for those aging out of foster care, and make it harder for schools to suspend and expel - all to improve the odds of success for boys and young men of color in California. Those are among dozens of recommendations from a state legislative committee that spent the past year and a half looking into why the state's minority youth are less healthy, have lower test scores and are more likely to be incarcerated than other young people......Assembly Select Committee on the Status of Boys and Men of Color,...
