  • Black Like Us: The Race Clownery of Obama-Biden

Looks like Vice President Joe Biden has been taking extracurricular Democratic jive-talking lessons. The results of condescending liberals' cynical racial pandering attempts are, as always, seismically cringe-inducing. At a campaign event in Danville, Va., the gaffetastic veep dropped his g's and picked up a bizarre twang in front of an audience of black voters. Middle-Class Joe swapped his Home Depot apron for an A.M.E. preacher's robe and sermonized about the big, bad GOP. Romney's "gonna let the big banks once again write their own rules," Biden shouted. "Unnnn-chain Wall Street," he exclaimed with pulpit bravado. "They're gonna put y'all back...

Few words have been more popular in recent years than "diversity." And few concepts have been more destructive. Destructive of our social fabric, destructive of our moral well-being, destructive of our ability to make judgments. In schools, non-profits and government programs across the nation, diversity has been held up as a great and noble prize. Some objective to be fought for and given prominence. It has become the top priority in institutions from colleges to corporations. And it has become a philosphy handed down like the word of god from the pulpits of education, business and government. And yet it...
  • Republicans and Democrats Did Not Switch Sides On Racism

As a result of unrelenting efforts by Democrats to shift their racist past onto the backs of Republicans, using the mantra: "the parties switched sides", a lot of people have requested an article addressing this issue. It does not make sense to believe that racist Democrats suddenly rushed into the Republican Party, especially after Republicans spent nearly 150 years fighting for black civil rights. In fact, the racist Democrats declared they would rather vote for a "yellow dog" than a Republican because the Republican Party was known as the party for blacks.
  • Zimmerman Prosecutors In Huge Screw-Up

    08/09/2012 1:26:21 PM PDT · by SoFloFreeper · 48 replies
AUGUST 9--In an embarrassing screw-up, Florida prosecutors today accidentally distributed a post-mortem photo of Trayvon Martin as well as copies of George Zimmerman’s college records, material that Florida law considers confidential and exempt from disclosure. The documents were inadvertently included in supplemental discovery records distributed this morning by prosecutor Angela Corey’s office. The material was sent to a variety of media outlets, including TSG, that have paid fees to receive discovery provided by the government to Zimmerman’s lawyer.

President Obama appeals to women by pushing the issue of access to contraceptives, while Mitt Romney accuses him of watering down welfare reform — an issue that tends to stir up feelings about race among whites. With the election still locked in a near-tie, the politics of gender and race have moved into the spotlight of the presidential campaign. For most of the summer, the debate has focused on two things: the state of the economy and Mitt Romney's background in business. But in recent days, the two campaigns have added new, sharp-edged issues to the mix.

Attorneys for the neighborhood watch volunteer charged in the death of an unarmed teen say they'll seek a "stand your ground" hearing that could lead to criminal charges being dismissed. A statement posted Thursday on the website for George Zimmerman's legal team says evidence released by prosecutors shows "clear support for a strong claim of self-defense."

The real election in the city of St. Louis occurred last Tuesday when Missouri held its Democratic primary. Six primary races pit white Democrats versus black Democrats, including high-profile races for U.S. Congress, the state senate, three state house races and sheriff. Like most major cities, the general election here is a foregone conclusion. Republicans haven't been a force in city politics for more than a half-century. In fact, you'd have to time-travel back to the misty mid-1940s before you could find a Republican occupying the mayor's office. St. Louis's last GOP mayor was a lawyer named Aloys Kaufmann, who...

State leaders should revise school testing and funding, extend health care coverage for those aging out of foster care, and make it harder for schools to suspend and expel - all to improve the odds of success for boys and young men of color in California. Those are among dozens of recommendations from a state legislative committee that spent the past year and a half looking into why the state's minority youth are less healthy, have lower test scores and are more likely to be incarcerated than other young people......Assembly Select Committee on the Status of Boys and Men of Color,...

Color is the bugaboo that we just cannot escape – even and especially when it should be the least important thing discussed. Which brings me to the discussions that the ignorant, race-mongers are having pursuant to Gabby Douglas. Miss Douglas has won two gold medals at the London Olympic Games. But in her case, winning two gold medals isn’t enough. The obligatory focus on the color of her skin by the politically correct, is sickening, but the ridicule she is receiving from blacks punctuates the statement made by Rev. James Manning that “black people are honorless, incorrigible idiots.”

Regardless of the electoral outcome, the possibility of civil unrest should not be discounted. Our societal divide has become a widening and deepening chasm to the point that regardless of who wins the presidential election civil unrest seems increasingly likely. I wrote here about the Civil War of 1861 - 65 and here about the constitutional implications and causes of that war. Should violence follow the November election, the conflagration and its context will be very different. It will have less to do with North versus South or with our few remaining States' rights. It may be influenced by the...

Gallup has just released Barack Obama’s job approval rating for the first half of 2012, broken down by state, and the news is not encouraging for the president. Obama’s approval rating is below 50 percent in 37 states, ranging from a 26 percent rating in Utah to a 49 percent rating in Michigan. Obama is at 50 percent or higher in just 13 states, from a 50 percent rating in Minnesota to a 63 percent rating in Hawaii. The president is most popular in Washington DC, where his job approval rating is an astonishing 83 percent.

One of the fears that may instill the occasional bout of night terror among American pols is the possibility that “friendly” SuperPACs who don’t agree with the strategy, tactics, or message they ostensibly support will fall into a giant vat of unregulated cash and do something stupid and counter-productive. We may be about to see how effectively Republicans can keep that from happening, via a new Super-PAC created by the shady oppo researcher Stephen Marks that’s already released a web ad which is a small masterpiece of racism-posing-as-anti-racism. As ThinkProgress’ Josh Israel reports: FightBigotry.com, a new Super PAC registered with...

In what is likely to be a vicious battle to a close finish, both Presidential candidates turn to the traditional carrot-on-a-stick method of campaigning… pandering to a particular demographic with glittering promises. While Romney is delicately walking the balanced beam, hoping to win the hearts of the Tea Party fiscal conservatives without ostracizing the moderate voters, Obama has turned his attentions to pandering to America's black voter with a new Initiative, outlined in an Executive Order issued last Thursday.Obama's official kick off of his Initiative on Educational Excellence for African Americans was in a speech to the Urban League the...

PHILADELPHIA—Ask Americans how race relations have changed under their first black president and they are ready with answers. Ashley Ray, a white woman, hears more people debating racial issues. "I know a lot of people who really thought we were OK as a nation, a culture, and now they understand that we're not," she says. Karl Douglass, a black man, sees stereotypes easing. "White people deal with me and my family differently," he says. Jose Lozano, who is Hispanic by way of Puerto Rico, believes prejudice is emerging from the shadows. "Now the racism is coming out," he says. In...

The Shelby County Commission has filed a subpoena in federal court asking for the identities of all online commenters in The Commercial Appeal's stories about suburban plans to create their own school districts. (snip) On June 26, the County Commission attorneys filed a federal court motion to block the Aug. 2 referendums to start school districts in Arlington, Bartlett, Collierville, Germantown, Lakeland and Millington. They argued that the people who arranged the referendums are trying to discriminate against African-Americans by carving out majority white suburban districts from the new unified school district. They shall have it regardless of whether they want it. We shall do this by equalizing outcomes for all. Thus spake our Lord and Master. Thanks and a tip of the hat to John Malcolm and the Daily Caller for first alerting me to this Executive Order. As a possibly close presidential election approaches, the White House announced plans to improve education for Black youth. They and their families are considered important to President Obama's reelection. Perhaps to help consolidate their votes behind him, King President Obama on July 26th signed an Executive Order. It observes, by way of...

It shouldn’t matter that I, an author with the audacity to select such a title, am black. The arguments presented should stand or fall on their objective merit. Nevertheless, I declare my racial identity at the outset to defuse any prejudice readers may bring regarding the motivation behind this piece. Indeed, it is in part because I am black that the following must be said. All things considered, blacks and the civil rights culture surrounding them are the most open and prolific purveyors of racism in America. This is an ironic travesty which spits upon the graves of history’s abolitionists...

For too many years the left has used the charge of racism to put opponents on the defensive and deflect from serious debate on the issues. This practice also gets used across the spectrum of demagoguery. Are you against laws that lead to grammar school children being taught about gay marriage or religious adoption agencies being forced to close because they won't place children with gay couples? You're homophobic. Are you against laws that support federally funded abortions for 13 year old girls without parental notification? Sexist. Suggest that a presidential candidate who happens to be black with no meaningful...
