Manhattan prosecutors plan to retry Reese Hopkins this fall on charges of sexually molesting two 11-year-old girls, prompting the ex-Boston radio yakker to lash out at Big Apple investigators over their crumbling sexual assault case against French financier Dominique Strauss-Kahn. “The Dominique Strauss-Kahn case is a perfect example of the district attorney’s office and the special victims units’ policy of you accuse, we arrest without properly investigating or vetting the accuser as they would any other crime,” Hopkins said last week. The former WRKO-AM (680) radio host has been free on $20,000 cash bail since April, when his child rape...

Reese On the Radio takes issue (as many do) with the way God, catholics and christians are attacked by the left. NBC's recent "under God" omission for one. Reese is urging all Americans to take a stand against, what he calls, "the gay mafia"!

A New York City judge declared a mistrial today in the child rape trial of ex-WRKO radio host Reese Hopkins because the jury was deadlocked, according to a spokeswoman for the Manhattan district attorney. The jury had been deliberating since Tuesday. Judge Daniel Conviser declared the mistrial and a bail hearing has been set for this afternoon. Hopkins was charged with two counts of rape — one forcibly — in the first degree and two counts of sexual abuse in the second degree. Charges of endangering the welfare of a child were dropped before the trial started.

After seeing the left’s hit job on Barack Obama critic Samuel Wurzelbacher (a/k/a Joe the Plumber), I can’t help wondering if political factors play a role in the recent “downfall” of another Obama dissenter. Last week, talk radio host Edward “Reese” Hopkins, a black conservative Republican whose show preceded Rush Limbaugh’s broadcast on Boston’s WRKO between December 2007 and October 2008, was arrested on charges that he sexually assaulted a friend of his stepdaughter’s in New York City in the fall of 2004. Hopkins has denied the charges, claiming that he did not live in New York City at the...
