It would not surprise me in the least if this group of admitted republicans in name only is Funded by George Soros with the express desire of fielding a candidate that Obama can take to the cleaners on race, age, and down right craziness.

SNIPPET - quote: Dissemination *_is_* collection I always get a kick out of people who tell me I give away intelligence for free. What I do is watch how information moves. Keep in mind that the subject covered on this site are pretty darn esoteric by most standards. What kind of people, for example, even know who Oussama Salhab is? Answers include: Oussama Salhab, his family, friends, associates in and out of Hizballah, people he does business with, spies of various nations, etc. Yep. The barn is free, and so is the food.
  • Mystery Company Is Rapidly Acquiring U.S. Gun and Ammo Manufacturers

Reports that a mysterious company has been buying up U.S. gun manufacturers have been popping up on the internet for several months. When we first learned of the possibility that a single company was rapidly acquiring companies like Bushmaster, Remington, and Marlin Firearms we immediately suspected that something was amiss. Apparently, we were not alone, because others were thinking the same thing. One rumor that popped up was that global financier George Soros, historically an anti-gun advocate, was behind the moves, and that he was positioning the gun industry to reduce pro-gun lobbying efforts. This prompted the National Rifle Association...

FRiends, another new year is about to dawn. As 2011 fades into the sunset, I celebrate the completion of one more year on FreeRepublic. Thirteen years have gone by since I signed up. I had been lurking here since the summer of 1998, and answered the call to attend the March for Justice on October 30, 1998 in Washington, DC. I came there on my own all the way from NJ, not knowing how many people might be there, and not really caring if I was the only one who showed up. What mattered was that a President was breaking...

Although we all are aware that so many of the individuals in Obama's Chicago Thug Machine Club should be in jail, let's just look at a list of crimes that we would be sent to jail for of which "Obama Rats" are and have been getting away with. Voter Fraud, Lying Under Oath, Accidental Death, SEC Violations, Tax Evasion/Cheating, Political Bribery, Real Estate Corruption, Obama's ACORN Prostitution Ring Intentions, Mortgage Favors, And Maybe Racketeering. So are there any other felonies not listed? And Pelosi has a cow over Waterboarding? No Wonder Democrats Want To Register Violent Criminals On The Loose...

... In state after state, guns are being allowed in places once off-limits, like bars, college campuses and houses of worship. And gun rights advocates are seeking to expand the map still further, pushing federal legislation that would require states to honor other states’ concealed weapons permits. The House approved the bill last month; the Senate is expected to take it up next year. The bedrock argument for this movement is that permit holders are law-abiding citizens who should be able to carry guns in public to protect themselves. “These are people who have proven themselves to be among the...

Michelle Malkin December 24, 2011 12:00 A.M. The Obama-mas Choir Sings ‘Home for the Holidays’ The White House organizes some progressive proselytizing for Christmas. They just don’t know when to quit. Consumed with the singular task of reelecting Barack Obama, progressives across the country will use the holiday season to propagandize their conservative relatives and friends. White House elves are directing the re-education Christmas camp efforts. On Tuesday, the Obama 2012 campaign released an instructional video titled “Home for the Holidays: Share Why You’re Working to Re-elect President Obama.” Instead of relaxing with loved ones, the president’s monomaniacal campaign staff...

I first learned about the contradictions of gun politics when I was about 10 years old, growing up in the radical milieu of 1970s Berkeley. My mother and stepfather were members of a revolutionary organization called the International Socialists. Although the group’s members were mostly bookish nerds with little taste for violence, their inspiration was Leon Trotsky, who led the Bolsheviks’ armed insurrection in 1917 and then headed up the Red Army, which killed hundreds of thousands of the Soviet regime’s opponents in the ensuing civil war. Because my parents’ politics were primarily an exercise in middle-class intellectual fantasy, I...

“This is classic Sherlock Holmes ‘the-dog-didn’t-bark’ evidence” of cooperation between the progressive groups and the administration, Rivkin said. The groups “are always bitching about [legal] impunity, and how impunity encourages aberrant behavior and weakens deterrence,” he said. “So where is their outrage? Why are they not criticizing a war criminal going free?” If U.S. troops had committed war crimes and were let go, Rivkin told TheDC, “wouldn’t every newspaper in the country be horrified and slamming the administration? How is it better to let an enemy war criminal go [free] to be hailed and praised?”
  • Three National Polls on Republican Field Tell Consistent Story

    12/20/2011 9:23:24 AM PST · by Liberty1970 · 5 replies
Three new polls came out today on the Republican race for the nomination. At first glance one seems way out of line with the others, until you tally up the numbers and notice that it only comes to 64%. (36% no response/undecideds, CBS? What's up with that?) So if you add 50% to the total for each candidate in the CBS poll below, you can see the results match the other polls to a very high degree. Here are the results, with my 'adjustments' for CBS in brackets: Candidate - CNN - ABC - CBS Gingrich - 28 - 30...

But multiple posting of a breaking news story? Nothing is so urgent that it needs to be posted so quickly. Sometimes scrolling down the first or next page will show a story has already been posted.

More frightening than any particular beliefs or policies is an utter lack of any sense of a need to test those beliefs and policies against hard evidence. Mistakes can be corrected by those who pay attention to facts but dogmatism will not be corrected by those who are wedded to a vision. One of the most pervasive political visions of our time is the vision of liberals as compassionate and conservatives as less caring. It is liberals who advocate "forgiveness" of loans to Third World countries, a "living wage" for the poor and a "safety net" for all. But these...

You're on the trading floor, trying to price out if a 15-year bond issued by General Electric will generate the returns needed to placate your investors. Bad news, your calculator is dead and the trader from Cantor Fitzgerald is readying to signal his buy. What to do? Well, if all you need to do is double the investment in five-years, you're in luck. That's probably not the case, and GE probably isn't issuing 15-year debt. But we compiled a list of six math tricks that might just come in handy. If you have a math trick you'd like us to...
