  • Polls Giving Hillary A Lead Over Anyone?,They Can't Be Serious. What States Were They Surveying?

    04/24/2015 6:41:54 PM PDT · by Cruz_West_Paul2016 · 26 replies
So what is with these polls saying that Hillary is ahead of any of the leading GOP candidates? Who are they polling? People living near the beaches of Los Angeles who have never had a job? At this point, pollsters should just take polls in the six or seven purple states that the GOP needs to flip. That leaves about 51 states that don't matter at this point!

See, the liberal media had to fabricate one entirely, and the Conservative media was quick to jump on it and blow it our of proportion. So what really happened at University of Michigan with those Muslim protesters? Just how “unsafe” was the campus really? No sensationalism, just the real story we found out...

I can't take it anymore. If one more person sends me that e-mail about Hillary and the Black Panthers, I'll have to be dragged away screaming in a straitjacket. You know the e-mail I'm talking about. It accuses Hillary of helping the Black Panthers get away with torture and murder during the early 1970s. With the 2004 presidential race drawing near, the spam mills are creaking to life, flooding the Internet once more with this agitprop classic. Unfortunately, the e-mail mingles good information with bad, sowing more confusion than enlightenment. Some versions, for instance, carry the byline of radio talk...
  • Creating a living and breathing Constitution

The United States does not have a living and breathing constitution. So then, how do we build it into one? Earlier today, I posted the full text of Louis Brandeis' address "The Living Law", which is quite an interesting work. On the one hand, Brandeis does accurately capture public feeling regarding mistreatment by their employers. On the other hand, Brandeis' uses this address to stand back, marvel at his own work, and act like an innocent bystander. The big key in the address is the court case "Muller v. Oregon", to which Brandeis had a hand in. He doesn't mention...

The U.S. Department of Justice administers two statistical programs to measure the magnitude, nature, and impact of crime in the nation: the Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) Program and the National Crime Victimization Survey (NCVS) -- FBIThe federal crime statistics in a table below are a rebuttal to the race-grievance industry, Obama-Holder demagogues, and MSM employees lies that crime is almost entirely white police, white neighborhood watch, and whites in general violence against Black Americans. The Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) Program and the National Crime Victimization Survey (NCVS) have long made it publicly known -- if only the lies weren't so...
  • No Matter Who Wins the White House, the New Boss Will Be the Same as the Old Boss

"What the government is good at is collecting taxes, taking away your freedoms and killing people. It's not good at much else." –Author Tom Clancy The American people remain eager to be persuaded that a new president in the White House can solve the problems that plague us. Yet no matter who wins this next presidential election, you can rest assured that the new boss will be the same as the old boss, and we—the permanent underclass in America—will continue to be forced to march in lockstep with the police state in all matters, public and private. Indeed, as I point...

When you think of the Fourth of July, what words come to mind? Holiday? Grilling? Fireworks? But 238 years ago, it was a different three words. Conviction. Courage. Sacrifice. On July 4, 1776, 56 men met in Philadelphia to pass a resolution declaring their independence from England. It was anything but a picnic. What they did that day at Independence Hall would cost them greatly in the years to come. But it paved the way for a radical new way of thinking about government that would change the course of human history. It’s not that the signers of the Declaration...

Maybe Jeb is finally reading the tea leaves? Been watching FOX and reading message boards? What does he need an exploratory committee at this point of the race as Cruz, Paul, and Rubio are already the first three horses in the Preakness? Maybe Jebby is finally at that point where he is as afraid to run as much as Hillary is afraid to make speeches in front of a "Live Audience"?

While I was reading Nancy Pearcey’s new book, Finding Truth, a professor at the state university where I teach circulated a news item about a politician seeking to alter the university’s goals. Instead of facilitating “the search for truth,” the university under this plan would commit itself to meeting “the state’s work-force needs.” I remarked to this professor and other colleagues that many academics had already eliminated “the search for truth.” In the ensuing e-mail conversation, several professors rejected the idea that there is any universal truth, and one professor even described the whole concept of a “search for truth”...

Political correctness is a disease. It’s a cancerous growth on the posterior of America that continues to grow. One of the prime examples of that is this week’s controversy surrounding the University of Michigan, and it’s screening of American Sniper. Long story short, American Sniper was going to be shown on campus, some Muslims at UofM complained, got a petition going and got the screening canceled. They claimed that the film was “racist” and that it would make students feel “unsafe”. Jeez. Then one girl, one brave girl, named Rachel Jankowski, got a counter-petition going to get the screening back...

I need to replace several windows in my house to get it ready to sell. I have had a few estimates made and frankly, I cannot afford to have them professionally done. Even if I could, I wouldn't recoup half of what i would spend. Therefore, I am endeavoring to man up and buy the windows and install them myself. I have seen a few Youtube videos (I know, I know) on replacing aluminum windows, but in two rooms I have these double hung, side by side windows. I guess what I really need is some advice on how to...

So I hate comparisons to Nazis as much as the next guy. Especially Hitler. But this recent deal with bakeries, pizzerias and religious freedom has created a line in the sand. Do you stand with fascism, political correctness, and big government, or do you stand with freedom? It’s just that simple. This video reflects that. Here’s Hitler reacting to a business denying him gay wedding cakes. Trust me, just watch it.

What Could Be More Appropriate on Easter? Jerry Coyne Challenges Francis Collins on Metaphysics Michael Egnor April 5, 2015 3:15 AM | Permalink National Institutes of Health director Francis Collins, who is a devout Christian, did an interview recently with National Geographic about his faith and his science. Predictably, Jerry Coyne, an atheist biologist from the University of Chicago, took exception to some of Collins's answers about the compatibility of faith in God and science. Collins: [Question asked of Collins] Are science and religion compatible?I am privileged to be somebody who tries to understand nature using the tools of science....

A skeleton named Little Foot is among the oldest hominid skeletons ever dated at 3.67 million years old, according to an advanced dating method. Little Foot is a rare, nearly complete skeleton of Australopithecus first discovered 21 years ago in a cave at Sterkfontein, in central South Africa. The new date places Little Foot as an older relative of Lucy, a famous Australopithecus skeleton dated at 3.2 million years old that was found in Ethiopia. It is thought that Australopithecus is an evolutionary ancestor to humans that lived between 2 million and 4 million years ago. Stone tools found at...

Thank you for contacting me about the letter sent by Republican Senators to the leadership in Iran regarding a nuclear agreement. As you know, on March 9, 2015, 47 Republican Senators sent a letter to the leaders of Iran addressing a prospective agreement on Iran's nuclear program. In the letter, the cosigners advised that Congress could revoke any agreement reached with Iran. I did not sign this letter. While I believe that Congress should have a say on any agreement – after all, Congress will need to repeal the sanctions from which Iran seeks relief as part of an agreement...
