Germany, Italy at UN court over WWII compensation By ARTHUR MAX, Associated Press – Sep 12, 2011 THE HAGUE, Netherlands (AP) — Germany argued at the United Nations' highest court Monday that Italian courts have no right to order it to pay compensation to Nazi war victims, saying international law and peace treaties would be jeopardized if national courts had the power to override them. Granting national courts jurisdiction over other countries would prompt would-be plaintiffs to "shop around for the most favorable national courts" and would lead to "legal disorder," said Germany's top legal adviser. Germany says its sovereignty...

Acorn, Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign, and slavery reparations are the real agenda driving the Pigford Settlement, the multi-billion dollar Black farmers’ pay out according to conservative investigative journalist Andrew Breitbart. Pigford was the lead plaintiff in the original class action suit against the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The distribution of subsidies in the early 1980s to mid l990s was at issue, with “sympathetic USDA administrators” agreeing to settle the case at taxpayer expense. Breitbart recently told a radio audience these were the factors behind Obama’s largest fleecing of U.S. taxpayers in history. Breitbart maintains Acorn is being used in this...

The following is from an e-mail (I have been contacted since I have done some research on Arab-Islamic slavery) I got from a person who seemed to be of a Jewish background, it's well written, I only did minor edits. An in-formal "apology" from "white" Jews to racist Islamic-fascists of the: Nation of Islam, New Black Panther Party Dear racist Muslim of the NOI, NBPP, etc. Please "excuse" us for...: 1) Not dominating in the predominantly Arab-Muslim slave trade, wherein, your "glorified" Muslim "brothers" have uprooted you, sold you, traded you like cattle to the "white" [non-Jewish] man in Europe,...

From How Do I Start the First Saturdays? Why are there five First Saturdays and not seven, or nine? Lucia once asked this question of Our Lord and received as an answer: “My daughter, the motive is simple, there are five kinds of offences and blasphemies uttered against the Immaculate Heart of Mary: (1) blasphemies against the Immaculate Conception (2) blasphemies against Her Virginity (3) blasphemies against Her Divine Maternity (4) blasphemies in the hearts of those who openly seek to foster in the hearts of children indifference or even hatred for this Immaculate Mother (5) the offences of those who...

Aborigine communities have comparatively low life expectancies Thousands of Aborigines who were removed from their families as children will receive no compensation, the Australian government has said.Campaigners for the so-called Stolen Generations had asked for a reparation fund of almost A$1bn ($870m; £443m) as part of a promised official apology. But indigenous affairs minister Jenny Macklin says money will instead be put into health and education schemes. Many Aboriginal children were handed to white families from 1915 to 1969. They were brought up by white people in an attempt by the government to assimilate the white and Aboriginal populations....

An act of reparation A prayer that is called “an act of reparation” should in some way address those four elements that are given in Number 23 of the Constitutions as mentioned above. There should be the welcoming of the Spirit’s action in our lives that moves us to respond and return love. The love of Jesus as manifested in His life and especially in His passion and death should be brought to mind as a kind of impetus to love in return. There should be some expression of our uniting ourselves with Jesus in His return of love to the...

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in Reparation for Abortion by Fr. John A. Hardon, S.J. Abortion is the ultimate crime. Other crimes can be perpetuated for some profit or gain. But there is no gain in abortion, except a lifetime of pathetic quiet. Other crimes can be provided by some deadly passion, like lust, or anger or revenge. But there is no real passion in abortion, except an idolatrous self-love or inhuman self-will. The killing of innocent unborn children goes back to the dawn of recorded history. In the Roman Empire, at the dawn of Christianity, there were no...

June Devotion: The Sacred Heart "And He showed me that it was His great desire of being loved by men and of withdrawing them from the path of ruin into which Satan hurls such crowds of them, that made Him form the design of manifesting His Heart to men, with all the treasures of love, of mercy, of grace, of sanctification and salvation which it contains, in order that those who desire to render Him and procure for Him all the honor and love possible, might themselves be abundantly enriched with those divine treasures of which this Heart is the...

(WILMORE, PA) -- The pews of the historic Saint Bartholomew Church in Wilmore were full Friday afternoon as The Most Reverend Joseph V. Adamec, Bishop of Altoona-Johnstown, conducted the Rite of Reparation for the previously-desecrated house of worship. Bishop Joseph was joined in the special Liturgy by Saint Batholomew pastor, Reverend Charles Bodziak, and fellow members of the Diocesan clergy. Included among those were Monsignor John Sasway, and Deacon John Rys. In a strong showing of ecumenical support, Metropolitan Nicholas Smisko of the American Carpatho-Russian Diocese of America also attended the special Liturgy.Nearly 200 members of the Faithful, including several...

Devotions to the Sacred Heart of Jesus "Behold this Heart Which has loved men so much that It spared nothing, even to exhausting and consuming Itself, in order to testify to them It's love; and in return I receive from the greater number nothing but ingratitude by reason of their irreverence and sacrileges, and by the coldness and contempt which they show me in this Sacrament of Love." --- Our Lord to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Our Lord stands there, ever waiting to heal our aching hearts, soothe our griefs, reach out to us with his mercy and bring us...

TFP Student Action launches Pray for Notre Dame. Join thousands of concerned students and parents in prayer and reparation. So many students and parents had trusted Notre Dame’s new president, Fr. John I. Jenkins, would restore moral order on campus by stopping two blatant anti-Catholic events from occurring year after year: “Queer Film Festival” and “V-Monologues.” However, hopes that Notre Dame would ban immoral events were shattered on April 5, when Fr. Jenkins issued a statement allowing pro-homosexual film festivals or events to continue at Our Lady’s university. Fr. Jenkins said, “[I] see no reason to prohibit performances of 'The...

VIENNA, Austria -- About 3,000 people have been cleared to receive the first payments from an Austrian fund to compensate Holocaust survivors, and another 3,000 should be approved shortly, the fund's chief overseer said Thursday. Hannah Lessing, general secretary of the General Settlement Fund, told the Austria Press Agency that the first cash payments will be made by Saturday. Lessing said the fund hopes to have processed all of the 19,300 survivors' claims by the end of 2006, although she said "some cases are very complicated." Six thousand applications were filed from inside Austria, Lessing said. Austria created the $210...

When the University of Nebraska’s Studio Theatre advertised its plans to stage the blasphemous anti-Catholic play "Corpus Christi," the American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family, and Property (TFP) and its TFP Student Action and America Need Fatima campaign immediately launched a prayerful protest. "Corpus Christi" portrays Our Lord and His twelve Apostles as homosexuals. Just as Our Divine Savior was abandoned, insulted and mocked during His Passion, so is He offended by the sins of men today. Yet as we recall the tragic abandonment of Our Lord, we also behold the heroic example of Our Lady at the...

Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus has an ancient history. At the beginning of devotion to the Sacred Heart we find references of the Fathers of the Church to the Sacred Wound of the Side of Jesus. In time devotion to this Sacred Wound led to devotion to the Sacred Heart. From this Sacred Wound, with the Blood and Water, the Church and the Sacraments were born. The Blood symbolized the Holy Eucharist and the Water symbolized Baptism. As St. Ambrose (d.397) stated: "The Water cleanses us, the Blood redeems us." This was also the teaching of St. John...

Catholic University hosts sacrilegious display against the Blessed Mother, offending students, faculty and Catholics nationwide Something extremely alarming and shameful occurred at the University of Dayton, where Our Blessed Mother was depicted in an exhibit amid pictures of prostitutes and pornography.1 The sacrilegious display, "Heartlands," by Derek A. Cracco, an assistant professor of art at the University of Alabama, was on public display in the Rike Center Gallery of the University of Dayton from February 22 to March 11. Ranking among the ten largest Catholic universities in the country, the University of Dayton, founded by the Society of Mary in...

In the face of spreading agnosticism and relativism, the term 'reparation' is most unusual. Moreover, not only is the term unusual but also is its theology. We witness today the loss of the meaning of penance, prayer, fasting, confession, and reparation. The modernists call it change when its real name is decay. In a culture where sin is no longer considered sin, why should anyone make reparation? How many today remove the body of Christ from the Crucifix and look only at the empty cross. If we Christians have a Crucifix before us, instead of an empty cross, we...

IWALKED OUT of New York's Penn Station right into a horde of bodies that couldn't quite avoid smashing into each other along 7th Avenue near 34th Street. After about 20 minutes, I figured the driver who was supposed to take me to Queens wasn't going to show.

So down into the subway I went, to hop one of those cars to Queens that former Atlanta Braves pitcher John Rocker said were so horrible. (The ride wasn't that bad.) My debating partner, Congress of Racial Equality national spokesman Niger Innis, picked me up in Queens, and the two of us headed for the Rev. Floyd Flake's huge church.
