  • Racist Anti-Trump Robocalls Hit SEC Primary States – Looks Like Coordinated Attack

    03/01/2016 1:02:54 AM PST · by Helicondelta · 22 replies
There are reports of racist anti-Trump robocalls hitting the SEC primary states tonight. This is after a weekend of racist smears by the liberal media and GOP establishment – including Marco Rubio – on Donald Trump. The calls are reportedly coming from the Rubio Conservative Solutions PAC. ... I just got a robocall from a Nazi group and they made a mistake. I was able to track it to 'Conservative Solutions Pac" THAT IS A RUBIO PAC— DJ Lewis (@umpire43) February 29, 2016

Jesse Jackson Jr. (D-Ill.) sent out an automated message to constituents in his district on Saturday, asking voters to stick by him through his recent spate of difficulties. “Like many human beings, a series of events came together in my life at the same time and they have been difficult to sort through,” Jackson says in the call. “I am human. I am doing my best. I am trying to sort through them...

The house phone rang last night and I picked it up. There was a taped message and I was not sure what it was about for a few seconds then I heard some political crap and the call was from the DNC. I hung up right then. I live in VA which will be one of the key battleground states. It is only March and I am already getting Robocalls. I cringe in horror at the thought of the phone ringing continuously in October. My annoyance will apply to calls from both parties.
  • Vanity: Over-the-top Phony Romney RoboPhone Call

Sorry for the vanity post, but I'm feeling pretty insulted by a phony robocall from Mitt Romney's Michigan campaign headquarters today. Here's what happened: I returned from an errand to discover a voice mail message, stating: "Hi, this is Mitt Romney calling. I was calling your home to see if I could speak with you directly and ask for your vote directly, and maybe answer some of the questions that you might have for me. It appears that I've not been able to make that happen, but perhaps we'll run into each other at some point during the campaign." The...

Aaron Titus, a Washington, D.C. lawyer, received a phone call at 4:33am on Wednesday. The automated call informed the lawyer that it was a snow day and schools would be open two hours late. It was a message Titus knew prior to sleeping that night. The next day, Titus, angry at the invasion, decided to get even with the school board. The 31-year-old father arranged for an automated message of his own. By researching a robocall company online, he taped a message and listed phone numbers to various school board members. One of the numbers was to the Superintendent, William...

*BEEP* Hello, this is Congressman Chuck Harbinson calling to remind you to vote tomorrow, Tuesday November 2nd. As your representative from the 3rd District, I have worked hard to bring positive change through my support for the Health Care Reform Act, as well as the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act which created the new Turnip ethanol plant and nearly a dozen new high-paying jobs right here in the Quint Cities. I am proud to have earned the endorsement of the Claxon-Ledger, the United Turnip Workers Union, and President Obama. So when you cast that vote tomorrow, Tuesday November 2nd, won't...

I received a robo-call this afternoon from the Kentucky Leadership Council claiming Rand Paul wants to legalize meth labs. The caller repeated this claim several times. The Kentucky Leadership Council is a shadowy Democrat supporting group that hides their donors. According to the Daily Caller, they have launched another robo-call campaign claiming Rand Paul isn't a Christian. Both claims are false. The group directed me to a one page website containing a YouTube video. The website doesn't directly repeat the same false claim about meth labs, but the video does claim Paul supports legalizing drugs. Rand Paul is quoted out...

Have you remembered to pay heed to Barack Obama worship services at his inauguration this Tuesday? If you are a Verizon customer you just might be getting an urgent reminder of this sacred duty in the form of a robocall as related by Brian Maloney of the Radio Equalizer: Yesterday, I was all set to write a smug, self-congratulatory post regarding my tremendous wisdom in finally dumping Comcast a few weeks ago for the complete Verizon Fios package, including cable. With Comcrap now establishing an all-Obama channel, isn’t it finally time to make the switch? Sadly, however, Verizon did something...

Shortly before 9 PM today, Saturday, October 18, I received an Obama robo-call from someone claiming to be a plumber in Fairfax. I wasn't able to catch his name. Has anyone else heard this? I'm curious to know who this person is. Moreover, these calls are already annoying, but to get one at that hour of the evening when I'm trying to get the kids down to sleep is extremely irksome.
