Rosie O'Donnell is set to headline a fundraiser to support Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign along with other supporters next week in New York City. The former host of "The View" is set to join Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney, Jim Obergefell and Cynthia Nixon to support Clinton next Wednesday as she looks to sew up the Democratic nomination during contests in April. Eight states are set to decide on delegates throughout the month, including Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Maryland and New York, where Clinton served for eight years as a U.S. senator.O'Donnell pushed news of the fundraiser on her social media accounts.
This divorce trial is getting feistier than an episode of “The View.” Daytime diva Rosie O’Donnell suffered a meltdown on Tuesday during her first appearance in divorce court, demanding reporters be shooed out of the public courtroom hours after her estranged wife ditched the session entirely. “Press? There’s press here?” fumed O’Donnell, 53, who looked trim in a deep aqua linen tunic over black slacks. “Could you ask them to leave?”
(CNN)—Rosie O'Donnell is saying goodbye to "The View" for a second time. O'Donnell, 52, was co-hosting the ABC daytime chat show after departing back in 2007. Next week will be her last after nearly five months on the job. She's leaving the show to focus on her family after she split from her wife, Michelle Rounds, in November, her publicist said in a statement Friday. "Rosie has teens and an infant at home that need her attention," the statement said. "This has been a very stressful situation. She is putting her personal health and family first."
In November, Rosie O'Donnell visited the Occupy Wall Street protests with a film crew at Zuccotti Park. Now, Us Weekly magazine is reporting Rosie didn't exactly act like the "99 percent" in proposing gay marriage, for the second time, to New York-based headhunter Michelle Rounds. "I proposed with my head down, hand out and a huge lump in my throat," O'Donnell told Us. Jewelry expert Michael O'Connor told Us that the ring's estimated value is about $100,000. "Wow! This is a platinum ring that gets you noticed," O'Connor marveled. "The cushion cut center diamond is approximately 4 carats, and since...
Rosie O'Donnell, possibly one of the most uninformed people to ever be given a television program, actually ridiculed the intellectual capacity of Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich Thursday. Appearing with fellow brainiac Joy Behar on the HLN program thankfully in its final shows, O'Donnell called the former Speaker of the House a "joke" saying, "Perhaps he should read a history book" JOY BEHAR, HOST: Yes, but I mean, what about Newt's plan to drop the child labor laws and put kids to work as janitors? ROSIE O'DONNELL: Yes. BEHAR: I mean, where does he come up with this crap? O'DONNELL:...
Rosie O'Donnell has a lot to celebrate. The TV star, 49, not only launched The Rosie Show on Oprah Winfrey's OWN network in October, but now she's preparing to say "I do" to girlfriend Michelle Rounds. She broke the news to her audience Monday during a break set aside for commercials during the taping of her show in a Chicago studio. Her rep later confirmed it to PEOPLE.
LONDON, June 30 (UPI) -- Only 1 percent of overweight women in a British survey said they are happy with their shape, blaming the celebrity culture for their attitude. Of the 4,000 overweight women questioned by the National Slimming Survey, 83 percent said they suffered from deep "self-loathing". Some 91 percent felt depressed and 79 percent said they felt "utter despair." Two-thirds of overweight women said they have felt like "life is not worth living," Sky News reported. The survey also said 74 percent admitted to hiding food in their bedroom, car, garage or garden. About half of respondents removed...
