Herndon Police Investigate Homicide posted 12:16 pm Sun October 28, 2007 - Herndon (Virginia) police are investigating a homicide the occurred Saturday night. Officers were called to the 1,000-block of Alabama Drive around 9:45 p.m. Saturday. Investigation revealed 20-year-old Luis Miguel Abrego Romero stabbed Juan Jose Alvarenga Alvarenga in the upper torso. Alvarenga was transported to INOVA Fairfax Hospital where he later died. Officers say Romero fled the scene on foot and his current whereabouts are unknown.
