At a rain-soaked rally on July 7 in Midtown Manhattan, about 100-150 fans and a large contingent of police lined the sidewalk by S&S's offices. There, just after noon, Yiannopoulos announced that he had filed a lawsuit against Simon & Schuster with the Supreme Court of the State of New York earlier that morning. S&S, he said, let him keep $80,000 of the advance he had been paid. He is seeking damages of "at least" $10 million. "They have to pay for silencing conservatives," he said at the rally. "How many books could I have sold with their marketing muscle?"

For those of you who always thought that Hillary was lying about everything, you’re about to be proven right. Moreover, the news is going to come from a very unexpected source: Hillary herself. The National Enquirer, which has stuck very close to honest reporting since getting burned in a long-ago libel suit, reports that Hillary has decided to stop the lies and tell the truth in an upcoming memoir. Simon & Schuster will pay her $25 million for writing the book, which she hopes will inoculate her 2016 presidential run against any future ugly revelations. According to the National Enquirer’s...

The book about her years in the Obama administration is currently untitled and tentatively scheduled for June 2014. Financial terms have not been disclosed. Clinton reportedly received $8 million for her 2003 memoir, "Living History," also published by Simon & Schuster. snip
  • David Shuster has LOST IT

For some reason I had it on MSNBC during the news conference of Miss Ca. David Shuster absolutely went off on everyone in the pageant who decided her fate, saying it made him want to 'puke.' He was actually somewhat implying his co-anchor Tamron Hall should jump off of a cliff because she was defending Miss CA to some extent. He said a person who has breast implants and plastic surgery cannot be taken seriously--and that its so omg!superficial, those beauty pageants. The man needs to be taken off the air. He cannot be considered a serious daytime journalist and...

MSNBC host David Shuster, who usually touts the liberal line on "1600 Pennsylvania Avenue," filled in on Monday's "Countdown With Keith Olbermann" and came to Barack Obama's defense against comments made by Dick Cheney. Shuster played a clip of Sunday's "60 Minutes," where the President responded to allegations by the former Vice President that he is making the country less safe. The cable host asked guest and Huffington Post blogger Lawrence O'Donnell, "Basically, Obama is saying Cheney claims the founding fathers and American principles that were forged during wartime are failures. Is the President flirting here with calling Cheney un-American?"...

When you run an attack ad against your opponent for refusing to compete in a debate, you can’t very well bow out of one yourself. So today, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton’s campaign said that she would participate in a debate sponsored by MSNBC in Cleveland, Ohio. Howard Wolfson, a spokesman for Mrs. Clinton...expressed its concerns...on a comment by an anchor, David Schuster, who said that the campaign had “pimped out” Chelsea Clinton to make calls to superdelegates on her mother’s behalf. Despite Mr. Shuster’s on-air apology and temporary suspension, the campaign threatened to boycott the network’s debates, citing “the pattern...
