This is what thuggery looks like. They don’t want to hear your side. They don’t want to discuss your views. They want you to shut up and be silent. This is today’s TrumkaObama American left. They must be soooo proud. Via Breitbart TV:

WASHINGTON - Democratic Party Chairman Howard Dean said Monday that either Hillary Rodham Clinton or Barack Obama must drop out of the Democratic presidential race after the June primaries in order to unify the party by the convention and win the election in November. But Dean didn't say which candidate should drop out, only that it should happen after primary voters have been to the polls. "We want the voters to have their say. That's over on June 3," Dean said in an interview on ABC's "Good Morning America." Dean also said that while the party rules say Democratic superdelegates...

Maria Sharapova, the queen of scream IF you thought Maria Sharapova's shrieking was over the top, you're right. The tennis glamazon makes almost as much noise as a power drill every time she hits the ball. The Herald Sun asked an Environment Protection Authority officer to measure the raucous Russian with a decibel counter during her match against Lindsay Davenport, the quiet American. The results proved what was painfully apparent to opponents and fans. Her loudest shriek was 71.5dB -- louder than a vacuum cleaner (70dB) and approaching the level of a power drill (80dB). And that was from a...

Until the votes are counted Tuesday night in New Hampshire, you won't be able to turn on a news program without hearing about Hillary Clinton "crying" at a campaign event Monday in New Hampshire. Is this a cry? And the larger question: Who cares? If you call that a cry, then you've got to say that Fred Thompson was crying, too, last week in Iowa. Hey, wouldn't you with his poll numbers? Even Rudy Giuliani is kicking some "Law and Order" booty in New Hampshire and Rudy's barely campaigning there. But we digress. A cry -- or let's face it,...

In the 1951 movie Distant Drums starring Gary Cooper, a small band of soldiers were crossing a swamp in pursuit of Seminole Indians. While wading through the Everglades one unnamed soldier was attacked and dragged underwater by an alligator. His last sound as he died was a startled scream. Wilhelm about to scream in The Charge at Feather River In The Charge at Feather River two years later, a soldier named Private Wilhelm screamed in what sounded like alligator-assaulted agony when he was struck by an arrow. In fact, his cry of pained surprise was practically identical to unnamed soldier's....

Howard Dean talked up Democrats, talked down Republicans and went door-to-door in a Portland neighborhood on Monday to rally Democrats for the upcoming election. Dean, chairman of the Democratic National Committee and a former Vermont governor, and Maine Gov. John Baldacci spoke to about 150 people at a breakfast fundraiser at the Italian Heritage Center before knocking on doors in a heavily Democratic Munjoy Hill neighborhood. Accompanied by a gaggle of reporters and cameras, Dean and Baldacci stopped at four houses to tout the Democratic message. One of them was owned by Jon Radtke, a high school teacher who said...

LONDON (Reuters) - A UK firm is hoping a cell phones security system it has developed which sets off a high pitch scream, permanently locks the handset and wipes all data if stolen, will halt the spiraling rise in phone theft. The Remote XT technology, designed to make phones unusable, and therefore worthless if they are stolen, works by installing software onto the operating system of the phone which is then activated via a call to a call center once users realize their phone has been snatched or lost. The phone is then remotely disabled, all the data held on...

The Marginalized Mainstream By Shawn Macomber Published 6/14/2006 12:12:16 AM LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- Somewhere between donning tongue-in-cheek tinfoil hats to symbolically deride those who label them conspiracy theorists and insisting they were "a fairly representative cross-section of the Democratic Party," the gathered at a well-attended Yearly Kos panel on Reforming the Electoral Process cheered wildly at the suggestion that, well, whitey don't know what he done got coming to him. "By the year 2020 we will be a majority minority state which means we will have more people of Latino, African American and Native American heritage than of Anglo...

Two or three of the futuristic fighters will touch down during the annual Heritage Flight Conference at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, a three-day event that allows pilots to practice formation flying for eight to nine hours a day. Six charged with The Scream theft The Scream was stolen in a daylight raid in August 2004 Six people have been charged in Oslo in connection with the theft of Edvard Munch's painting The Scream. The masterpiece, along with another work, Madonna, was taken in a daylight raid on the Norwegian capital's Munch Museum in August 2004. Neither work has been seen since, despite an international search and the offer of a reward. Five people are charged with theft, one is charged with receiving stolen goods. They will stand trial in February. None of the six people has been identified....

Governor Dean wrote the following op-ed for national distribution:John Roberts is a decent family man and a bright, articulate, thoughtful judge. He has a quality absent in previous right wing candidates like Antonin Scalia and Robert Bork, namely a judicial temperament that makes litigants feel that they have been respectfully heard whether they are on the winning or losing side of a verdict. But John Roberts is the wrong man for the job. Despite the fact that the White House has withheld key documents either out of incompetence or a fear that those documents might prove embarrassing, we have learned enough...

Scream Baffles Ohio Town POSTED: 6:27 pm EDT August 19, 2005 UPDATED: 10:25 am EDT August 20, 2005 LIBERTY, Ohio -- An unusual and noisy mystery has people in a small town north of Middletown on edge, worried and asking questions, News 5’s Brain Hamrick reported. Liberty, Ohio, is a quiet little community, except for one thing -- the scream. Jamie Young told Hamrick she heard it while she and her husband were walking one evening. “It scared me. I didn’t want to finish my walk,” Young said. But instead of running into her house, she said she recorded the...

Dean's latest Howard Dean, the Democratic National Committee chairman who was the hero of his party's anti-war wing before his gaffe-prone 2004 presidential candidacy crashed and burned in Iowa, still doesn't think the Iraqis are better off with dictator Saddam Hussein out of power and in prison. Appearing on CBS' "Face the Nation" yesterday, the fiery former Vermont governor said, "It looks like today, and this could change, as of today it looks like women will be worse off in Iraq than they were when Saddam Hussein was president of Iraq." Mr. Dean was the guy who said right after...

Howard Dean must be the product of a Karl Rove plot. How else to explain the Democratic National Committee chairman who so often acts as an unpaid agent of the Republican party? Democratic governors and senators run from him when he visits their states; he is badly losing the fundraising race to the Republican National Committee; and he routinely produces new gaffes. Dean’s handlers have carefully kept him off national TV, until they unleashed him on “Meet the Press” this past weekend. Dean was returning to the forum of one of his signature triumphs in his presidential campaign. He appeared...

Powerline posted this bit about "Old Yeller"(Dean). They have some quotes from "the screamer" at one of his recent stops in Lawrence Kansas. Apparently he can't help but open his big mouth. Check these out: "The issue is not abortion. The issue is whether women can make up their own mind instead of some right-wing pastor, some right-wing politician telling them what to do. "Moderate Republicans can't stand these people [conservatives], because they're intolerant. They don't think tolerance is a virtue. I'm not going to have these right-wingers throw away our right to be tolerant. "This is a struggle of...

"Aaaaaaarggggghhhhh!!!" That's the scream of pain emanating from the lips of moderate centrist Democrats as it dawns on them that blue-state favorite Howard Dean really is about to become chairman of the Democratic National Committee. "Hurrraaaahh!" That's the scream of joy emanating from the mouths of overjoyed Republican politicos as they realize that even more states will be colored red after the next election, thanks to Howard "Scream 2" Dean. Unfortunately, for the Democrats, Howard Dean's primary constituency resides in such mainstream American locales as Berkeley, Madison, Hollywood, Greater Westchester County and Barbara Streisand's Malibu mansion. Dean is the angry...

Howard Dean won the backing of state Democratic Party leaders Monday, putting him in a strong position to win the chairmanship of the Democratic National Committee. "If all of our members vote for him, that will be half of what he needs to win the chairman's job," said Mark Brewer, chairman of the Association of State Democratic Chairs. The party's presidential front-runner in 2003 won 56 votes from the state chairs and Democratic activist Donnie Fowler won 21 during a national conference call. The state chairs ignored a recommendation made Sunday by the executive committee to back Fowler. Other candidates'...

The Arab world is all one big happy family again. OK, dysfunctional, but happy. No, well, unhappy and as twisted as usual. While visiting Kuwait today, Palestinian presidential front-runner, Mahmoud Abbas, apologized for his people’s support of Saddam’s invasion of the Gulf emirate in 1990. Isn’t that special? (remember Dana Carvey as the “Church Lady” on SNL?). This happened just after Kuwait’s sultans (or whatever they’re called) forgave the Palestinian people for supporting Saddam’s invasion. Kuwait’s leadership went so far as to say they didn’t even expect a public apology for Palestinian support of the 1990 war. Now, isn’t that...

BURLINGTON, Vt. -- The results of Tuesday's election were disappointing for many people, including former Vermont governor and former presidential candidate Howard Dean. His organization, Democracy for America, endorsed dozens of candidates -- only about a third of whom actually won. But Dean and his supporters said they have just begun to fight. At a Democracy for America meetup Wednesday, Democrats gathered in Burlington to share sadness and anger. But in a surprise call to supporters from coast to coast the man behind the meetup said it now is the time to turn anger into action. By his words, the...

Kerry: 'Wake Up America' and Choose Fresh Start Fri Oct 29, 2004 01:17 PM ET By Patricia Wilson ORLANDO, Fla. (Reuters) - Democratic challenger John Kerry urged Americans on Friday to "wake up" and choose a new start on the economy and Iraq instead of four more years of President Bush's "catastrophic mismanagement." Four days before the United States chooses its next commander in chief, the Massachusetts senator told supporters in Orlando they could not afford to re-elect Bush, "a president who's unwilling to admit the mistakes he's made and says he would do the same thing all over again."...

From Slings And Arrows: In a moment of clarity (which I am sure will be short-lived) Howard Dean actually said something that made sense:Every day that goes by without action to stop the Sudan genocide is a day that the anti-Iraq war position so widely held in the rest of the world appears to be based less on principle and more on politics. And every day that goes by is a day in which George Bush's contempt for the international community, which I have denounced every day for two years, becomes more difficult to criticize. I doubt he will ever...

OSLO (AFP) - Two masterpieces by the Norwegian artist Edvard Munch stolen from an Oslo museum at the weekend were not insured against theft, officials said. "The Scream", one of the most famous images ever painted, and "Madonna" were grabbed Sunday morning by armed and hooded thieves who burst into the Munch Museum in the Norwegian capital, threatening a member of staff with a gun. "The pictures were insured in case of fire or damage from water but not for theft or burglary," said John Oeyaas of Oslo Forsikring, which is responsible for insuring the assets of the city of...

Robbers took the work off the wall in broad daylightArmed robbers have stolen the iconic Edvard Munch painting, The Scream, from the Munch Museum in Norway. Two masked thieves pulled the work and another painting, Madonna, off the wall as stunned visitors watched on Sunday. The car was later recovered and police also found parts of picture frames near to where a witness reported seeing a suspect vehicle. The Munch Museum said the two stolen paintings were among its...

Munch's 'Scream' Stolen From Museum Sunday, August 22, 2004 OSLO, Norway — Armed men stormed into an art museum Sunday, threatened staff at gunpoint and stole Edvard Munch's (search) famous paintings "The Scream" and "Madonna" before the eyes of stunned museum-goers. The thieves yanked the paintings off the walls of Oslo's Munch Museum (search) and loaded them into a waiting car outside, said a witness, French radio producer Francois Castang. Police spokeswoman Hilde Walsoe said the two or three armed men threatened a museum employee with a handgun to give them the two paintings, including one of four versions of...

After former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean’s protest-fueled primary campaign crashed, he reconstituted his effort as Democracy for America. Mobilizing its Internet-coordinated grassroots base, Democracy for America will work for progressive candidates and long-term change in the Democratic Party. In These Times recently talked to Dean about the presidential race and his own work. There’s a hardcore anti-Bush sentiment, but at this point not a good deal of enthusiasm about Kerry as the candidate. Are there ways in which you think he could overcome that? My view of all of Democratic politics is that we’ve been making a mistake. The Republicans...

Howard Dean: Scream 'Never Happened' By John Eggerton -- Broadcasting & Cable, 6/14/2004 3:25:00 PM Howard Dean said the scream speech "never happened," and that its repetition more than 900 times in the following week showed cable "at its worst" and revealed cable news as a "Murdochized" entertainment medium, not journalism. The former Vermont governor and presidential candidate calls it part of the "Murdochization," of cable, referring to the growing success of Rupert Murdoch's Fox News Channel. "Not because Murdoch is a right winger, which he is," says Dean, "but because [Fox News Channel head] Roger Ailes is so incredibly...

Driving home from work last Friday ( 4 June 04), I heard Sean Hannity playing some of the Democrats' speeches (Gore, Kennedy, and Dean) from the last few months. Sean and Gingrich (his guest) analyzed the false logic in the speeches, but it was the tone, the hatefulness, and pace of the delivery of the speeche that really caught my attention. The longer I listened the more I think they all had taken speech instructions from Hitler!

The Dean Scream: The version of reality that we didn't see on TV The scream that may not have been Howard Dean in Iowa By ABC News/WABC/abc12 New York — It was the scream Howard Dean says became famous after the media played it nearly 700 times in a few days.
