While visiting Iraq on assignment, KOA Denver reporter Steffan Tubbs was touched by the children forced to survive in such harsh conditions. After talking to several soldiers, he learned that soccer balls are "like gold" in Iraq and the soldiers asked Steffan to send over as many soccer balls as possible when he returned home. Along with the help of his college friend Trevor Slavick, "Little Feet, Big Goals" was started. Must see video - Soccer ball drive with commentary by Steffan Tubbs - (windows media player) Photos and email from soldiers who have already received a shipment of...

"We lose more of them [Iraqi Army members] on leave than we do in combat... these guys are bleeding for a greater voice than we are." -- Army First Sergeant John "Top" MacFarlane on the risk of being a member of the Iraqi Army (many are assasinated while they take their seven days off a month) "I think this is Bob's [ABC's Woodruff] blood right here." -- MacFarlane to me, pointing at a blood stain on his flak jacket "... they're all nuts." -- Army Major Mike Jason on insurgent groups all within a 10-mile radius of here "Go ahead...

PHILADELPHIA Nov 8, 2005 — Terrell Owens has apologized to Philadelphia Eagles coach Andy Reid, quarterback Donovan McNabb, the team's owner, the team's president and fans. He read the statement outside his house in Moorestown, N.J., a day after the team said he would not return this season. "I fight for what I think is right. In doing so, I alientated a lot of my fans and my teammates," he said. His agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said Owens was making a public apology in hopes of returning to the Eagles this year. Owens' brief but tumultuous time in Philadelphia ended Monday...

Terrell Owens Press Conference (mp3) is available here: I just viewed the Terrell Owens press conference on ESPN News. I didn't realize his agent is the absolute idiot loudmouth Drew Rosenhaus. I therefore retract my support for bringing T.O. to Denver. If T.O. fires Rosenhaus then I'm for bringing T.O. here once again. and ESPN's Sal Palantonio is now reporting that the Eagles have officially said that Owens' last minute apology today doesn't change anything. T.O. will never be in an Eagles uniform again. EVER.
