  • Gohmert Responds to Undercover Video of Google Released by Project Veritas

    gohmert.house.gov ^ | June 24, 2019 | Congressman Louie Gohmert
Congressman Louie Gohmert (TX-01) released the following statement today regarding the undercover video of Google released by Project Veritas: “This video shows Google’s biases are now a threat to a free and fair election, all while they hide behind the immunity given by Congress years ago when they were supposed to be a simple ‘town square’ where everyone’s voice could be heard without biased results. In fact, Google references a significant role they see themselves fulfilling in the 2020 elections. This discovery should set off alarm bells throughout the country. It is no secret that Google has a political agenda....

Activist Ginger McQueen crashed the local ACLU Stop Trump training session today and began to lecture the indoctrinated leftists. Ginger urged the snowflakes to think for themselves. So they called the police on her. When the officer got there he shook her hand and laughed. Ginger is Senior Editor of the Beltway Times. I crashed the ACLU's Stop Trump meeting. By refusing to reinstate the immigration executive order, Appeals Court completely ignores both statute and facts The left is pretty excited right about now, and I suppose you can’t blame them. When they can’t win elections or pass their agenda via legislation, what they usually do is run to the courts. It matters not at all that it’s not the job of courts to overturn the will of voters or legislators. The only thing that matters to the left is getting their way, and they’ll be more than happy to see judges make up law from whole cloth if that’s...

The Associated Press is out with new polling pitting Democrat Hillary Clinton against Republican Donald Trump. Clinton beats Trump in every category among the general electorate, including on the questions of who is best to create jobs, who is better on international trade and who can "Make America Great Again," which of course is Trump's campaign slogan. First, the criteria:

Drudge Report editor and Washington Times columnist Charles Hurt took a look at the state of the Republican presidential primary on Thursday’s edition of Breitbart News Daily with SiriusXM host Stephen K. Bannon. Hurt said the Republican Establishment loves talking about convention rules, floor fights, and the fine points of delegate behavior because “it allows them to avoid a far deeper and more important problem they have, and that is that they are completely out of touch with Republican voters.” “They opened this huge avenue for Donald Trump, who isn’t like them, who’s an outsider, who is flamboyant, and is...
  • Your thoughts: Is Cruz running to be VP nominee for Romney, Ryan or Jeb?

I'm trying to figure out his goal. He can't get to 1237 delegates. So staying in the race can only mean he's trying to force a brokered convention by preventing Trump from getting to 1237. However, he's smart enough to know the establishment will nominate Ryan, Romney or Jeb at a brokered convention - never Cruz. So maybe the plan/scene/plot is to reward him with the VP nomination?

U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren blasted Donald Trump for his “hate-filled attacks” on her Native American heritage, disparaged his business record and labeled him “a threat” to America, previewing what one expert predicts will be her upcoming role as a peacekeeper between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders. [Snip] She added: “I think that Donald Trump poses a real threat to this country, and that’s why I think it’s time to fight back against that threat.” Trump and Warren this week waged a war of words, with him dismissing her as “the Indian” after she repeatedly assailed him on Twitter for what...

She questioned his business career and criticized him for "hate-filled attacks" Sen. Elizabeth Warren fired back at Donald Trump on Thursday, doubling down on criticism she leveled at the Republican front runner on Monday in a series of tweets in which she called Trump a “loser” and asked voters to “count all his failed businesses.” The Massachusetts Senator called Trump “a real threat to this country” on Thursday and said, “it’s time to fight back against that threat.” “Donald Trump claims that the reason he’s qualified to be president of the United States is that he is a very, very,...

Kasich and Cruz quietly work to persuade delegates to break with GOP voters in a contested convention. When South Dakota's Republican activists convened in Pierre to pick their delegates to the Republican national convention, they got an unexpected visitor. Merle Madrid, senior aide to Ohio Gov. John Kasich, had flown in from Columbus to make an appeal: If the convention fails to elect front-runner Donald Trump on the first ballot, consider Kasich on the second — even if the state’s Republican voters sent them there to back Trump or Ted Cruz. Madrid was polite and earnest , but according to...

"Trump is not a strong general election candidate. He's showing surprising strength in the Republican primaries. But that's only 20 million people," said Murphy, who ran the $100 million Jeb Bush super PAC Right to Rise. "The regular election is 128 to 129 million people; different planet, not Trump friendly." Murphy told CNBC's "Squawk Box" he would not support for Trump, even if the billionaire were to get the GOP nomination. "Personally, I'd never vote for Donald Trump. I'll write in somebody better. But that's just me. The party will support him if he's the nominee."

Mr. Trump is going to arrive at the convention with his 1,237 votes for the nomination, or he will be very close. Then the man who wrote “The Art of the Deal” is going to be ready to deal. He will deal with John Kasich, the popular governor of the very important state of Ohio. Mr. Trump, by the way, has already expressed his admiration for Mr. Kasich. Or there is Scott Walker, the very conservative governor of Wisconsin. Another popular governor is Rick Scott from the voter-rich state of Florida, who has already joined a growing number of politically...

Aconservative super PAC is trying to swing Utah voters against Donald Trump in tonight's caucus by slut-shaming his wife Melania Trump. The ad, circulated on social media, shows the former model in a nude 2000 GQ photo shoot with the words: 'Meet Melania Trump, your next First Lady. Or you could vote for Ted Cruz on Tuesday.' Cruz, who has a precarious 50.1per cent polling average, needs to win a majority backing in order to take all 40 of Utah's delegates. Republican strategist Liz Mair, who founded the super PAC Make America Awesome, said that the ads have been targeting...

Jeffrey Gundlach, the widely followed investor who runs DoubleLine Capital, foresees a “global growth scare” between now and the end of the summer, triggered by a presidential nomination of Donald Trump. “That is where I see the vulnerabilities,” Gundlach said in a telephone interview on Monday. Trump’s protectionist policies could mean negative global growth, Gundlach warned. “As he gets the nomination, the markets and investors are going to worry about it more. You will see a downgrading of global growth based on geopolitical risks. You must factor this into your risk-management.”

According to Politico’s sources, Utah Sen. Mike Lee has attempted on multiple occasions to broker a shotgun wedding between the former campaign rivals, yet Rubio has declined to partake in the efforts “to halt Donald Trump’s march to the Republican nomination.

In the caucuses March 1, I was elected an alternate delegate to the Colorado State GOP convention, which on April 9 will select and instruct our delegates to the Republican National Convention in Cleveland this summer. Accordingly, I have drawn up a resolution which is now being circulated which will forbid Colorado delegates to the national convention from voting for Donald Trump for president or vice president on any ballot. Such a resolution is necessary, because Trump has publically stated that his methods of operation include buying or renting the services of politicians for cash. As the text of the...

A secretive group of Republican operatives and conservative leaders convened Thursday morning for more than three hours to discuss ways to unite the right against Donald Trump, with a presentation about the feasibility of mounting a third-party challenge as well as extensive deliberations about whether a coalition of anti-Trump forces could prevent the billionaire mogul from securing the party's presidential nomination at the July convention in Cleveland. "It's certainly not too late," Rep. Trent Franks (R-Ariz.) said as he left the session. "You could get another party on the ballot. If you did that, you'd need a movement conservative to...
