I'm starting to watch a lot of children's public television with my 20 month old daughter and haven't seen that much leftist propaganda except on shows like Sesame Street. Many of the other programs seem relatively evenhanded. Any info on this important topic?

I’ve been sending this all over the USA: Please ping your Freeper Friends....

Friends: Please join me in helping Scott Brown become US Senator from Massachusetts.
His election will reduce the Dems to 59 votes and can ‘Stop the Health Care Bill’.......Julie

On January 19th, the state of Massachusetts will hold a special election to fill Ted Kennedy’s SENATE seat. There are 3 candidates: Republican State Sen. Scott Brown, Democrat Attorney General Martha Coakley, and Independent Joe Kennedy.

If this seat goes to Scott Brown, the Democrats loose their 60th seat, and will no longer be able to break a Republican filibuster.

Please go to Scott Brown’s website http://brownforussenate.com/ to donate online or mail a check to: Brown for US Senate...200 Reservoir Street, Needham, MA 02494

Also on left side of that home page watch the TV Ad that is driving the MA Dem’s nuts. With your donations the Brown Campaign can run TV Ads all over Massachusetts.

It’s very unlikely that the House and Senate will be able to “reconcile” their Obamacare bills in time for a vote before Jan 19th!! We can help to stop the government takeover of our Health Care by sending Scott Brown to Washington!

This is a GREAT way to Nationalize the elections in 2010 too!! Let’s roll out national support for Republican Scott Brown. Flood his campaign with millions of small donations!! Send E-mails to our friends, family, and anyone else you can think of to start spreading the word about this race.

Anyone across the country who is interested in phone-banking on Scott Brown’s behalf, please contact Field Director Brad Hansen at:

brad@brownforussenate.com or call 509-595-4683. Brad will set you up with a user-name and password. You will receive an email with your unique user name and password, as well as a link to the website where you will log in.

Once you are logged in, watch the tutorial on how to use the system and then you can start making calls.

I wouldn't bet the farm on “Governor Baker”. He may win, perhaps not, but he cannot do anything more to alienate Reagan Republicans. Stylistically, he's a limp-wristed version of Mitt Romney, a panty waste who has been handed much of what he has in life.

Levin was right and continues to be right.

He is the true conservative— certainly among the most intelligent of our media luminaries.

Levin is doing us all a huge favor by continuing to blister the ‘faux conservatives’ who pretend that Bush Bashing and Conservatism are not only consistent but mandatory.

Faux conservatives require the pre 911 neo isolationism. Faux conservatives pretend that Republicans and Democrats are exactly the same in order to impress their even more dimwitted friends called ‘independents’

Levin has been doing a great job of hammering the outrageous lies that Republicans are just as bad as radical democrats. That view and all too apparent in FR threatens conservatism more than the democratic party.

The public clearly sees that the democrats are bad but the Republican party is where the response should be based.

There is a stubborn refusal to recognize that Primaries are where the litmus test arguments should be made about repubicans— not in the general elections where in 2006 and again in 2008 faux conservatives gave us all a Democratic Congress and a Democratic President.

I will be more impressed when they deliver elected conservative candidates.

It is important to understand that Ronald Reagan would not meet the contemporary extrapolations of what it is to be a conservative.

Reagan signed into law amnesty— something Bush never did. Yet for that cause Bush is despised and deprived of his rightful status as a successful conservative President. Bush did far more for the illegal immigration activism of the right than Reagan but again— so what.

Hopefully Levin can cool the hot tempered irrationality that has now given democrats two deadly sweeps of power.

    Howie’s back! Sunday column ping

    Carr-nac the Magnificent sez ...
    By Howie Carr | Sunday, January 3, 2010 | http://www.bostonherald.com | Columnists

I am Carr-nac the Magnificent! And as the snowflakes fly this morning, here are my predictions for the hackerama in 2010.

Sen. Anthony Galluccio, Drunkard-Cambridge, will not be in the Senate by the end of the year, maybe not by the end of the week.

Christy Mihos will go through three campaign managers before the GOP primary in September, which he will lose to Charlie Baker.

Eric Holder will continue his disastrous tenure as attorney general, warmly welcoming ever more Gitmo terrorists into the U.S., brooming Black Panther voter-intimidation cases, accusing all white people of being racists - right up until the moment it becomes apparent that Deval Patrick cannot be re-elected governor.

At which time Deval will resign as governor to succeed Holder, saying, “As much as I love Massachusetts, I must answer the call of my president - and my country.”

In his first act as acting governor, Tim Murray will declare May 13 “Dunkin’ Donuts Day” in the commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Treasurer Tim Cahill will - wait, who’s Tim Cahill?

If Sen. Scott Brown loses two weeks from Tuesday (and doubting infidels please note that Carr-nac said if, not when), whichever shady solon the House selects to replace Martha Coakley will not be elected to a full term as AG in November.

In fact, whatever dodgy Democrat wins the vote in the Legislature will be crushed in the primary in September, probably by Norfolk DA Bill Keating. This means you, Charlie Murphy.

Secretary of State Bill Galvin will not run for AG. Scott Brown will - if he loses to Martha on Jan. 19. Sorry, the stars refuse to tell Carr-nac whether Brown will prevail in that fight.

Steve Grossman will not be the Democratic nominee for treasurer. Nature abhors a vacuum, which is a perfect description of Steve Grossman as a politician.

Think Steve Pagliuca, without the charisma.

Many toothpaste jokes at the St. Patrick’s Day breakfast this year.

Sal DiMasi - guilty! He is sentenced to serve as co-host on fellow criminal House Speaker Felon Finneran’s cruel and unusually bad radio talk show. It will be renamed “Crime Does Pay!” . . . although not as much as before, because the Felon’s salary will be cut by half, and maybe more, when his contract expires next month.

The over-under on the number of puff pieces the Globe will write about new Newton Mayor Setti Warren is 87. Carr-nac the Magnificent recommends the over.

Released from the House of Correction, ex-Sen. Galluccio will soon arrive by ambulance at the emergency room of Mount Auburn Hospital, claiming a back injury and asking the ER physician to write him a small prescription for Oxys - say, 5,000.

The GOP will pick up three seats in the state Senate and six in the House, boosting their total representation to 29 out of 200. An improvement, but still pathetic, and not enough to sustain a veto by new Gov. Charlie Baker.

Worcester County Sheriff Guy Glodis will rue the day he decided to give up his soft sinecure to run for state auditor, as once again gender trumps all and Suzanne Bump wins the Democratic nomination to succeed Joe DeNucci.

Joe DeNucci will be very happy when Glodis loses.

Though many of these predictions will turn out to be wrong, Carr-nac is confident that at least that one prediction is written in the stars.

Please this is pure non-sense spit out to work listeners up, The FR posts warning about this were written a few times a week December 2008 in a frenzy with talk radio beating the drum. There is no chance of this, never was. Not even tried. This was a big scam to make listeners think they got something hot, like radio free Europe. Like you are listening to BANNED shows. The taboo always brings interest. It's a ratings thing.

Not big money, but not bad for sucking off somebody elses teet.

Yes it is. And they are doing it with a DEMOCRAT president instead of a Republican president, FOR A CHANGE. To prove my point. It was Bush that signed the minimum wage increase but Obama gets the unemployment blame (as you just blamed Obama) because McCain lost. If McCain won republicans would once again be the goat.

I don't know about you, but 8 years of the country hating republicans was getting a bit monotonous to me. Time for a change, Let the country hate democrats for a while.

Yes, 50K daytime, although only 5K at nite.

In any case, WPTF's low frequency (680) combined with their 50K watts gives them a great daytime signal that usually can be heard easily at a range of 100+ miles -- unless your radio is inside a metal-framed buidling, in which case you may have better reception via WRDU's FM signal.

Thank you. I've been a loyal listener of WPTF for the 15+ years I've lived in Raleigh but in the winter when they are forced to decrease their signal strength I can't get the station in after 5 pm and it's VERY frustrating to me. I can't even pick it up most of the time while driving around town and I live right in Raleigh, not out in the country somewhere. I also can't pick up WPTF on my small clip on radio when I'm walking around the house or on the computer because of the interference and since I can't pick up this station a lot of the time so I'm thrilled that Rush is going to WRDU. I will still tune out Sean because I simply don't care for him but I'm happy to finally get to hear Beck on the radio because I love his Fox News show.

Are you friggin' kidding? The House will roll over and accept the Senate's version of socialized medicine to get something passed and there's not a darn thing anyone can do to stop it.

Yes, cap & trade might be dead, but the jury's still out. Sanity has little to do with Pelosi and Reid.

Plus, we're stabbing allies in the back all over the world while praising anti-democratic despots, showing weakness unseen since Carter. The friggin' government has nationalized industries and crapped all over 200 years of bankruptcy law. We're repeating every failure of Roosevelt, raising the minimum wage, taxes, regulation, and regime uncertainty in a downturn.

That's not just bad, it's about as bad as it can get.
