  • TUBE BOMB: Terror as crude IED found on train fails to explode - MORE attacks expected

    10/22/2016 8:32:53 AM PDT · by LSUfan · 28 replies
ARMED anti-terror police were flooding London today amid fears a BOMB found on a Tube train last night was just the first of many. Officers tasered and arrested a 19-year-old man after a "viable improvised explosive device" was found on a Tube train at North Greenwich. North Greenwich tube station was evacuated for nearly seven hours after London Underground staff found the suspect package on an eastbound Jubilee Line train. But experts warned the IED may have been just the first in a co-ordinated attack on the capital.

Police in France say almost 2,000 children are on a watch list of more than 15,000 Islamic radicals in the country. By a razor-thin margin of 50.25 to 49.75 percent, Colombians voted against the peace accord, in a Brexit-style backlash that defied pollsters’ predictions and left supporters of the deal in tears. Let’s recap yesterday’s round of cultural enrichment.First, we had a terror attack in Seaside Park, New Jersey. The pipe bomb was set to go off next to thousands of racers running by in a 5k charity race for Marines. Had it not been for a late start, we’d be talking about #NewJerseyStrong and the deaths of hundreds of our fellow Americans.Second, a Muslim Jihadist went on a stabbing rampage at a mall in St. Cloud, Minnesota. He went around asking people if they were Muslim and if they answered no, he stabbed them yelling “Allahu Akbar”. He’s instructed to do...

"An Uber driver ferrying a woman and two little girls was caught in Saturday night’s bomb blast — and by Sunday afternoon, the FBI was dismantling his car. The driver said he’d picked up a woman and two girls and they were driving along W. 23rd St. in Chelsea around 8:30 p.m. — unaware that in seconds his car was going to be caught in a storm of shrapnel." “I just picked them up over there on 23rd St. and Seventh and then boom there was an explosion,” driver Md. Alam told the Daily News." "Alam watched from the sidewalk...

This was nuts. Far left activist Richard Fowler told the panel on Sunday Morning Futures the word “terror” is an offensive term because Muslims may have hurt feelings. Richard Fowler: Here’s what DeBlasio tried to do yesterday, right? Yes, it was an intentional act. Yes, it was an act of terror. The problem is when you say the word ‘terror’ because of word association it automatically assumes you are talking about people of the Muslim faith. And that is why he said an intentional act and not terrorism because we don’t know if it was Muslim. None of these organizations...

The anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks weighs heavily on the minds of Minnesota Muslims as they prepare to celebrate one of the most important holy days of the year. For weeks they had worried that Monday’s Eid al-Adha, which marks the end of the annual pilgrimage to Mecca, might fall on the 9/11 anniversary. Though the sighting of the moon placed this year’s Eid on Sept. 12, the proximity of a major holiday and a painful anniversary has fueled anxiety and led community leaders and local law enforcement to tighten security measures for Eid celebrations. “There has been...

What may be overlooked as the news media discusses the attacks of 9/11 is that in 1993, more than 23 years ago, terrorists from the Middle East also carried out two deadly attacks in the United States. On January 25, 1993 a Pakistani citizen, Mir Aimal Kansi stood outside CIA Headquarters with an AK-47 and opened fire on the vehicles of CIA officials reporting for work.
