35 Years After

35 Years After by Ari Bussel While in Israel, I was invited to visit the old cemetery of Tsfat. Major restoration work is taking place there, alongside a hillside spread with stones. Underneath are hundreds of graves. Over the centuries, their tombstones became rubble, washed away by rain, exposing some of the graves underneath. This was my opportunity to learn that all tombstones in a Jewish cemetery face East, thus all headrests are aligned, row after row, toward Jerusalem. A separate section of the cemetery is the final resting place of a group of school children murdered 35 years ago...

Remembering Entebee : When Leaders Still Fought For Freedom

On July 4th 1976 shortly after midnight Israeli Planes landed at Entebbe and began their now famous rescue. The entire assault lasted less than 30 minutes and all six of the hijackers were killed. Yonatan Netanyahu (Bibi's older brother) was the only Israeli commando who died during the operation. He was killed near the airport entrance, apparently by a Ugandan sniper who fired at the Israeli commandos from the nearby control tower. At least five other Israeli commandos were wounded. Out of the 103 hostages, three were killed and approximately 10 were wounded. A total of 45 Ugandan soldiers were...

Abbas' Fatah Brags It Commits More Terror than Hamas

There is only one difference between Hamas the terrorist group that control's Gaza and Fatah, the terrorist group that controls Judea and Samaria. Hamas is open about it terrorist goals, Fatah (controlled by Palestinian President Abbas) tries to maintain a shroud of "moderation" Of course their moderation belies the truth. Take for example this little skit (video above) that Palestinian Media Watch found on PA Television where Fatah brags about its terrorist abilities. The broadcast event was attended by senior PA/Fatah leaders, including Muhammad Dahlan, former head of PA security; Kadura Faras, head of the PA Prisoners’ Association; Nasser Al-Qidwa,...

Top US commander(Odierno): Iran still supports Iraq attacks (Accuses Iran of Attacks in Baghdad!)

The top U.S. military commander in Iraq says that Iran still supports and trains militants who carry out attacks _ mostly with mortars and sophisticated roadside bombs _ inside Iraq. Gen. Ray Odierno says the attacks have been reduced but are still a problem. He spoke on Tuesday at his base outside of Baghdad, as Iraqi forces took control of security in the Iraqi capital and other urban areas. June 30 was the deadline for American troops to pull out of Iraqi cities under a U.S.-Iraqi security pact. The pullout was completed on Monday. Odiero says Tehran is "still supporting,...

Talk Radio “Terrorizes” California Republicans

The Obama administration has made it a point to refrain from using the term terrorism when discussing those who wish to kill Americans in large numbers. Acts of terrorism are now described by the White House as “man-caused disasters” in order to move away from the politics of fear, according to Obama’s Director of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano. Apparently, the politics of fear are being held in reserve for use against the conservative movement. First, Napolitano’s office released its assessment of “right-wing extremism.” Now, the Speaker of the California Assembly, Karen Bass, rolls out the T-word to describe talk radio....

California State Assembly Speaker Karen Bass, a Democrat, did an interview with the LA Times. Thought you may enjoy her response to the following question: How do you think conservative talk radio has affected the Legislature's work? Bass' response: The Republicans were essentially threatened and terrorized against voting for revenue. Now [some] are facing recalls. They operate under a terrorist threat: "You vote for revenue and your career is over." I don't know why we allow that kind of terrorism to exist. I guess it's about free speech, but it's extremely unfair. Now that's a first. I know that politicians...

The real root of the conflict stems from Islamic teaching concerning as they put it: The House of Islam/ The House of War: "The Koran sees the world as divided into two - one part which has come under Islamic rule and one part which is supposed to come under Islamic rule in the future. There is a division of the world which is very clear. Every single person who starts studying Islam knows it. The bad news is that Obama is now doing its Muslim outreach through a different organization with terrorist connections, ISNA. The ISNA is an umbrella organization of Mosques and other Muslim groups. It was established by the Muslim Students Association with the help of one of' Palestinian Islamic Jihad's founding students, Sami Al-Arian.
BAGHDAD (AP) — A booby-trapped motorcycle loaded with nails and ball-bearings exploded in a crowded bazaar Friday in Baghdad, killing at least 15 people, Iraqi officials said. The attack struck just four days before the deadline for U.S. combat troops to withdraw from cities. The wave of violence that has killed more than 200 people this week has raised fresh doubts about the ability of Iraqi forces to provide security as their American partners become less visible.
