  • SUSAN RICE TESTIMONY ON ‘UNMASKING’ POSTPONED INDEFINITELY

As the Trump-Russia conspiracy express grinds on, a real scandal has been completely covered up by the corrupt mainstream media. That is that several high-ranking officials in the Obama administration conducted extensive domestic surveillance operations against the campaign of then candidate Donald Trump. It was a gross abuse of power as well as a hijacking of the national security apparatus for political means. The surveillance was aided by the “unmasking” of names of American citizens in intelligence reports that were widely distributed to political operatives. One who has been identified as a chief culprit is former Obama National Security Advisor...
  • PERJURY: Comey Lies That Pres. Trump Tweet Prompted Leak

    06/08/2017 4:13:54 PM PDT · by sdthree · 118 replies
During the hearing, Senator Susan Collins asked Comey if he had shown copies of his memos to “anyone outside” of the Justice Department. Comey replied, “yes,” saying he made the decision to do so after President Trump tweeted about possible audio recordings the day after he was fired. However, that information seems to be inaccurate, because the memo was leaked to the New York Times May 11th and President Trump tweeted on the 12th. Comey said he hoped to benefit from that leak.

Given the incredible testimony of Mr. Comey wherein the contradictions from prior testimony and apparent abuses of power abound, why would it not be appropriate to investigate Mr. Comey. He certainly has created at least probable cause that he is a source of top secret leaks of classified information. Sessions probably would not want to tackle this direction for fear of it looking retaliatory. Thus, I say sauce for the Goose. I propose appointing a special counsel to investigate this. After all, have not the democrats touted the need for such independent prosecutors. The Special Counsel's mandate would be to...

Former FBI director James Comey is formally refusing to answer questions submitted to him by a bipartisan group of senators, suggesting he no longer must do so as a private citizen. Comey sent an email from his private account last week rebuffing the seven questions that had been submitted to him by Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Charles Grassley and the committee’s ranking Democrat Dianne Feinstein after Comey’s final testimony as FBI director to the panel last month. Comey was fired by President Donald Trump shortly after his appearance. Sens. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., and Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I., joined in the request...
  • Public-Private Partnerships Will Not Save U.S. Infrastructure

This week, while Donald Trump ensnares himself in the most serious threat to his presidency to date, Congress is, to some extent, continuing with the typical business of government. A series of hearings during “Infrastructure Week” are focusing on the administration’s rumored infrastructure plan.Although the White House has been talking up private infrastructure investment as a replacement for public funding, a panel of experts told Congress that, even with perfectly executed public-private partnerships, the federal government still needs to provide its own support — especially for projects, like transit lines, that aren’t guaranteed to generate toll revenue for profit-seeking investors.This...
  • Ted Cruz Cleaned Sally Yates’s Clock. Here’s Why.

On Monday, in a hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) exposed former Acting Attorney General Sally Yates’s ignorance of the law, and the partisan nature of her decision to refuse to enforce President Donald Trump’s executive order suspending travel from several terror-prone countries. One would not know that from the liberal media, which thinks Yates won the exchange, but Cruz proved his case decisively. Here’s why — in short: Cruz brought up the law that authorized the executive order, and Yates did not recognize it. She then answered by referring to another law, which does not...

Recently I came across the photo on the left and did a double take. The girl in that photo, with her hollow eyes and hopeless heart, no longer bears any resemblance to me. She was dead in her sin (Eph. 2:1). (To be clear, I am not saying everyone who looks like the girl on the left is dead in sin, or that everyone who looks like the girl on the right is not. Spiritual reality runs far deeper.) I was always the type to push boundaries. Even as a child, I never really had a moderate pace. I tried everything once but...

Leading members of Congress are calling on President Barack Obama to fire one of his top advisers amid a deepening scandal over accusations the White House intentionally misled lawmakers and the American public about the contents of last summer’s comprehensive nuclear agreement with Iran, according to a letter sent Monday to Obama and obtained by the Washington Free Beacon. The lawmakers are pressing Obama to fire deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes following revelations he and other officials “spearheaded the charge to mislead elected lawmakers and the American people about the Iran nuclear deal and the negotiations that led to...

The White House told the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Monday that Deputy National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes won't be testifying on Tuesday about his controversial comments on the Iran deal. In a letter to Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, Neil Eggleston, counsel to President Obama, said it would raise "constitutional concerns" if Rhodes were to testify. He also said Congress has been consulted enough. "While the administration will continue to consult closely with Congress on this important matter, testimony by one of the most senior advisers to the president raises significant constitutional concerns rooted in the separation of...

Key military commander to testify on Benghazi — the day before his retirement By Jeremy Herb - 07/29/13 12:13 PM ET Congress will hear eagerly awaited testimony Wednesday on the Benghazi, Libya, terrorist attack from a special operations task force commander who is set to retire the next day. Col. George Bristol, the former commander of a task force that operated in Northern and Western Africa, will appear at a classified, members-only briefing with a House Armed Services subcommittee, congressional and Defense sources told The Hill. Republicans have been pressing the military to allow Bristol to testify. They argue he...

(CNSNews.com) - Coming soon, a new checkpoint experience for airline passengers. Testifying before a House Oversight subcommittee on Tuesday, Peter Neffenger, the new head of the Transportation Security Agency, said he envisions "a day where the checkpoint looks very different from what it does today. With the exception of the full-body scanners, "We're still largely dealing with ...the same kind of checkpoint we've had for the past decade or more. And I think we're on the cusp of a very different looking checkpoint experience in the next five years."

Four pinocchios for the pantsuit Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s testimony yesterday before the congressional committee formed to investigate the deadly Benghazi debacle that she allowed to happen and then tried to cover up can be summed up in two words: she lied. Boiled down: Despite mountains of email evidence to the contrary, Clinton denied that she previously blamed the Sept. 11, 2012 terrorist attack that took four American lives on an at-the-time unwatched anti-Islam YouTube video. She denied that left-wing slime merchant and Clinton groupie Sidney Blumenthal was her advisor. She even denied having a computer on...

The burning question on Capitol Hill is which Hillary Rodham Clinton will show up Thursday to testify before the House Select Committee on Benghazi: the affable and polished politician who wowed the Democratic presidential debate last week or the combative woman whose 2013 testimony has become a campaign liability. After months of back and forth conducted by press release and media interviews, Mrs. Clinton will get the chance to square off against investigators face to face in testimony expected to cover everything from her whereabouts during the 2012 terrorist attack in Benghazi to her decision to delete tens of thousands...

Hey, all. I'm striking out sourcing one individual that testified before Congress on Obamacare before its passage. I recall that he was a Doctor or was in the Medical Insurance business and warned of all the negative impacts and cautioned many aspects of the act that have come to pass. I recall watching one video and thought I had bookmarked it; apparently I did not. I believe it might have been a Youtube video, but can't be sure (searched there, too). The guy wasn't reported widely in the press (go figure) and may be why I'm having difficulty doing this...

The IRS’s new proposal to crack down on nonprofits was in the works a year before the tea party targeting scandal broke, according to a Treasury Department official who told congressional investigators it was spurred by pressure from outside parties. The revelation follows earlier testimony from former IRS Commissioner Steve Miller, who told investigators that they started “brainstorming” ways to crack down on nonprofits while under pressure from a senior Democratic senator who was “complaining bitterly to us” about the way groups were engaging in politics while organized as social welfare nonprofits. House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa and subcommittee...
