Requiem for a Republic.President Trump won. We the People happily carried our MAGA President to victory. In overwhelming numbers a grateful nation reelected the greatest President since Abraham Lincoln. He and We won so bigly that democrats silenced him and us. Then they impeached him. CNN's Chris Cuomo and Brooke Baldwin ADMIT on live television that they ARE biased! Chris Cuomo: "We couldn't help her anymore than we have. You know, she's just got a free ride so far from the media and we're the biggest ones promoting her campaign."

Today being New Year's Eve Eve so to speak is the inspiration for this Sunday's feature. The triumvirate of Peter Sellers, Blake Edwards and Henry Mancini's only non-Inspector Clouseau comedy. It basically concerns a blacklisted Indian actor who gets accidentally invited to a swank Hollywood party and the ensuing chaos that occurs. It's a very loosely structured film but makes for an amusing time capsule of 1968 Hollywood. Worth watching if you're a fan of Sellers, Edwards and/or Mancini.

Real good take - and presentation - on the Wellstone memorial and the snub of Cheney. Does not come right out and say it, but the inference is that the Wellstone family new it would be a partisan event.Anyhow, worth a look.
