Only God is omniscient. We do the best we can to get things right. Many of us reach different conclusions. So we all need strong free speech. Praise The Lord. God Bless America.

For me John 1-1 is the most powerful verse of the Bible. Equating Logos with God underscores the supreme importance of free speech and honesty. I feel the need for more of both in this month where Big Tech deplatformed a sitting president and where others rush to convict him for inciting insurrection when he said “protest peacefully”. Truth matters to me.
  • (A Personal Post) The West is based on rationality.

As John 1:1 so magnificently proclaims, “In the beginning was The Word ………..” The Word. Logos. Rationality. Discourse. Freedom of Speech. People who live together in harmony because they talk with each other. What The Modern Left hates and destroys.
  • The rational foundation of The West comes from God and is God.

The New Testament humanized and personalized religion. This is the foundation of modern freedoms and democracy. Eastman Johnson’s sensitive realism was proving that black lives matter before the Civil War. Will juvenile leftist stupidity destroy this precious heritage or will we treasure it and survive?

I think the idea that the word or Logos is God is amazing. But what does it mean?

Full title: Huntington Beach family sues school district over students’ right to hand out fliers promoting Bring Your Bible to School Day HUNTINGTON BEACH — A Los Angeles-based conservative Christian group has filed a federal lawsuit against the Huntington Beach City School District on behalf of two children, alleging they were unlawfully prohibited from distributing fliers promoting Bring Your Bible to School Day. The lawsuit, filed Monday, Jan. 7 by Freedom X in United States District Court in Santa Ana, alleges that the school district violated the First Amendment rights of Micah Bausch, 10, and Nieka Bausch, 8, by curtailing...

On the Wonder of the Word of God Msgr. Charles Pope • October 1, 2015 • The first reading at Mass today (Thursday of the 26th week of the year) from Nehemiah 8 is a wonderful meditation on the glory and wonder of the Word of God; it deserves our attention. The background of the text is that Israel had been conquered by the Babylonians (in 587 B.C.) and the survivors of that war were led into exile in Babylon. After 80 years the Persians conquered the Babylonians and Cyrus, the king of Persia, permitted the Jews to return to the...

Born Again by the Word of God by John D. Morris, Ph.D. | Mar. 28, 2013 "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever." (1 Peter 1:23) Our rebirth into the family of God is quite unlike our natural birth. All human birth and, indeed, due to the universal curse placed on all creation (Romans 8:20-22) at the time of Adam's rebellion (Genesis 3), all plant (1 Peter 1:24) and animal reproduction as well, is "of corruptible seed," withering and dying. Our spirits, however, if we have...

Matthew 6:1 “Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. 2 “So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 3 But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 so that your giving may be...
  • Who He Is (Who is this Jesus whose birthday the world celebrates)

Some two thousand years ago, the man whose birthday we celebrate during this season was walking with his disciples through a region which is today known as the Golan Heights.  As they were making their way through those hilly parts, Jesus turned to his companions and asked, "Who do people say that I am?" The disciples told him that many ideas circulated as to his identity: "Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets." Things have not changed much in the intervening two millennia.  Today, as then, people hold many notions...

Need a real challenge for your Bible reading? How about 10 chapters a day from 10 different sections of Scripture? Sound crazy? Not to those, like me, who have had their spiritual walk transformed by the increased intake of God’s Word made possible by following Professor Horner’s system. After less than a month on the plan, my wife said that I was a different man! This should not be surprising, after all, the first half of Psalm 1 says: 1:1 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners,...
  • Guest Opinion: Obama and Pelosi Hijack The Word

Speaker Nancy Pelosi has decided to follow President Obama's lead in claiming that God directs her lawmaking, invoking the Bible as her legislative roadmap. If a conservative Republican did this, it would be the top of the news. Recently, Pelosi engaged in a rambling, redundant, somewhat incoherent monologue in which she claimed that "The Word" directed her. She clarified that meant "The Word Made Flesh"-the incarnate Deity-Jesus Christ. She doesn't leave us to surmise, elaborating that she makes policy decisions, "in keeping with the values of Jesus." However, the place to learn about "The Word" Jesus is to read "The...

While perusing the news this week, I stumbled upon several articles referencing Nancy Pelosi’s most recent stuttering explanation of herself. Outside of San Francisco, most red-blooded Americans read her description with squinted eyes and furrowed brows, trying to understand how she could possibly rationalize her words. At a Catholic Community Conference on the Hill on May 6th Nancy said: “They ask me all the time, ‘What is your favorite this? What is your favorite that? And one time, What is your favorite word?’ And I said, ‘My favorite word? That is really easy. My favorite word is the Word, is...

If you want to destroy a political forum then turn it into a conspiracy theories haven. This is exactly what is Democratic Underground known to us as Dummyland. At DU the lefties are running all type of insanely delusional conspiracy theories ranging from election fraud, to Bush is going to kill or imprison every Democrat in the country. On the other hand Free Republic is the best political forum on the internet because the vast majority of posters use logic and facts to express their opinions and comments regarding a particular subject. The leader of the Anglican Church says Christians should stop openly criticizing homosexuals, out of concern for their lives. In a letter targeting the world's Anglican churches, Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams said harsh language about homosexuals can lead to murder, according to a BBC report. Although many traditional Anglican leaders oppose homosexuality, since it is unambiguously condemned in both the Old and New Testaments, Williams reportedly said in his letter: "Any words that could make it easier for someone to attack or abuse a homosexual person are words of which we must repent. "Do not think repentance is always...
