Tribute to a Conservative Activist Pioneer, Doctor Raoul A legend passed away last weekend. A legend from a long ago era—at least as time is measured in the Internet Age. As such, most of you reading this have never known of him, but you should. Doctor Raoul’s message for the wounded warriors at Walter Reed Army Medical Center His admirers included the likes of conservative luminaries Andrew Breitbart, Ann Coulter, John Fund, David Limbaugh and Michelle Malkin. His work was appreciated by numerous wounded warriors at Walter Reed. He bedeviled Bill and Hillary Clinton and was sworn at by liberal...

We were at the Chick Fil-A at the Paramus Park Mall in Paramus, NJ. The first time I ate at this place since the mall opened in 1974, and it was pretty darned good. I highly recommend the peach shake. What's noteworthy is this particular Chick fil-A is one of the few remaining original teneants at this mall. No media coverage, other than the local cable news. Considering how heavily democrat Bergen Cty is they had quite a turnout and everyone seemed in good spirits. And the crowd was quite a bit more, (I HATE this word) diverse than...

A group of protesters ultimately stopped the New Jersey State Assembly from approving a bill that would have added state debt for a new sports arena in an illegal manner. Activists from, United Taxpayers of New Jersey, and other citizens' advocacy groups packed the room where the Assembly hearing was held in Trenton. The hearing was called for 2 pm. By 3 pm, the room was totally packed with activists, business interests, media, and legislators. At 3:00, NJ Republican Gubernatorial Candidate Bret Schundler appeared, ready to make a statement at the hearing. A few minutes later, the hearing ...

Just throwing out a handful of ideas for discussion: How to develop local chapters/conservative grassroots groups. Develop a conservative platform and a plan for recruiting, training, supporting and electing conservative candidates. Develop ideas for building an effective nationwide conservative grassroots network. How to combat the Fairness Doctrine? Install offshore servers? Private BBS? Email/Phone/Fax lists? Shortwave radio? Local/personal networking? Working with other conservative groups, political parties? Would a FReeper PAC be feasible? Practical? Effective? Would a FReeper 527 organization be feasible? Practical? Effective? How to infiltrate/influence local political organizations? Select and fund delegates for a national convention should our membership decide...

I am organizing a caravan from the Philly area to DC for the September 15th Gathering of Eagles. Figure it will be a 3 hour trip. There will be a brief pit stop at the halfway mark. Believe me, it will seem like much less than 3 hours, especially on the way home, high on having just FReeped moonbats all day. It's such a rush. It's a great way to show our solidarity with the military and to show the public that the moonbats don't represent American public opinion despite all the BS they're fed by the media. Round trip...

The first to arrive were a troop of Protest Warriors from New Jersey, who brought lots of flags and signs and stayed till the end, chanting and cheering.Soon the Caucus for America pulled up in a pickup truck, which would become our stage. The NYPD had been saving a space for us with a big truck. As the police barricades went up, we tied our signs and flags to them. Before I continue, I'd just like to note that this report on Thurday's activities in Manhattan has been passed on to me by another freeper, whose posting privileges have been revoked. Well, well, well. Once again, the Kerry supporters "shined" brightly last night. Yet, there were many conservative protesters out on the streets, whom the media chose to ignore. On Thursday, a few freepers met up with "Protest Warrior" to make our voices heard and ruffle a few feathers on the left; both missions were accomplished. I am headed to Annie Moran's in Manhattan where I hope like last year to post the live thread using my pocket PC and wireless connection to keep freepers informed of the festivities. A blessed holidays to all.

It is sad to have to tell you that long time freeper, and one of the founders of Second Amendment Sisters needs your prayers. .DBWZ's husband of just over a year suffered a massive stroke yesterday. He is a firearms trainer, and the stroke occurred while he was working at the range. He is presently in a coma, and his future looks pretty grim at this point.<Please remember them in your prayers.

RIDGEWOOD With its velvet ropes, tight schedule, and high-strung aides, Hillary Rodham Clinton's book signing at Bookends on Friday was shaping up to be an event devoid of actual human emotion. But that was before the author strode into the room. Cameras flashed. Spines straightened, and hands clapped. The first few dozen of the hundreds of people in line at the bookstore leaned forward to look, and there was Clinton - Democratic New York senator, author, former first lady, famously humiliated spouse, and perhaps future presidential candidate - beaming her megawatt smile around the room. "Thank you for coming!" she...

"I Love Hillary -- I don't care about the truth," a woman shouted from the open window of a minivan on New York Avenue in Huntington, Long Island, New York on Friday night. Former first lady Hillary Clinton had a pretty good turn out for her book signing -- Book Revue of Huntington, Long Island was packed to capacity on Friday. However, protestors were not too fond of the fact that Hillary was in town to support her book. Talk Radio legend Bob Grant of WOR710 in New York interviewed Carl Limbacher and I as protestors shouted "Buy the next...

Doctor Raoul and I met at Penn Station (thanks to cell phones--who knew there were two Acela waiting rooms?). The Doctor had already come up on the NJ Coast Line, with his Santa's sack of signs and costumes, plus bullhorn (which we were not allowed to use). We caught the 4:01 to Huntington and were met at the train by deadhead and alisasny. When the four of us got to the site, there were already a young man and a young woman holding signs. They were from Marist College. Later, other wonderful kids from Our Lady of Mercy Academy in Syosset,...

"There's one man in a devil costume. He's been following me for three years," Sen. Hillary Clinton complained to Newsday on Thursday. "Maybe he'll show up in Huntington."'s resident devil, "Dr. Raoul," didn't disappoint, showing up to protest Sen. Clinton's Book Revue book singing in Huntington, New York right on schedule Friday night. Raoul's costume dujour, however, was, "Rodham Hussein" - desert fatigues topped by a Hillary mask and burgundy beret. He was joined by a hearty contingent of fellow Freepers and a handful of independent protesters who gathered to show Hillary that not everyone was in her...
