As Libertarian Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul looks for a state he can win, some of his supporters have turned to a new theme: voting fraud. A Super PAC supporting Paul has pledged to monitor the vote in all the remaining states, using an army of exit pollsters to fight what it calls results that are "outrageous, unacceptable and patently un-American." The group, called Revolution PAC, has spent half a million dollars supporting Paul with videos, webcasts, online ads, direct mail, billboards and radio ads in primary and caucus states. We first noticed Revolution PAC last week, when it told...

”When Al- Qaeda attacked our country on 9-11, Ron Paul told us the CIA was behind it. And that Bush and Cheney knew about the attack in advance.” That is a quote from ex-Ron Paul staffer and confidant Eric Dondero about Ron Paul. Eric called Paul ”the original 9-11 truther”. This makes sense on so many fronts. When Congress was getting ready to vote on a military response in Afghanistan, Ron Paul initially OPPOSED responding to the attack, and expressed no concern about those who died that day. In fact, his only concern was that this attack would be used...

The closer the first votes of the 2012 presidential campaign get, the more competitive longtime congressman Ron Paul appears to become. It's a moment his famously fervent supporters have longed for. Plenty of others are asking: What's Ron Paul about, again?

A former Ron Paul staffer named Eric Dondero, who worked closely with the Texas congressman and presidential candidate over the course of 15 years, has issued a statement in which he both defends his old boss from charges of racism and anti-Semitism and reveals damning new details about about the "sheer lunacy of [Paul's] foreign policy views". First, Dondero claims that his old boss is such an extreme isolationist that "he strenuously does not believe the United States had any business getting involved in fighting Hitler in WWII. He expressed to me countless times, that 'saving the Jews,' was absolutely...

Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) is surging in the polls, but that doesn't prevent Zo from telling you why he isn't supporting this Texas congressman's presidential bid. Hear more. (Video at link)

The reaction to Ron Paul’s ascent in the polls — especially now that he has a shot at winning the Iowa caucuses — has been severe, with critics raising questions regarding his apparent September 11th “truther-ism” and ill-advised statements found in newsletters Paul distributed in the 1990s. National Review columnist Mark Steyn, author of “After America: Get Ready for Armageddon,” says all of this is evidence that Paul is a flawed candidate. In his regular appearance on Hugh Hewitt’s radio show on Thursday, Steyn explained why the “truther-ism” aspects of Paul’s and his supporters’ beliefs wouldn’t hold up. “This by...

I’ve been waiting for quite a while for Ron Paul to just come out and admit he’s a 9/11 truther. Frankly, I thought it would happen a long time before now. It has taken so long, in fact, that I had started to doubt whether he would ever do it. However, I guess his Iowa polling numbers must have him feeling his oats, because he finally let slip (apologies to those who cannot view the video in IE, we are working to fix the technical issue. Original video may be found here): And it’s… just think of what happened after...

Q. "You were asked about world government and you said 'there is no world government'. What is your role in groups like the bohemian club, freemasonry, and that sort of thing, Council on Foreign Relations? Gingrich: "I don't belong to the Bohemian Club, I have no role in freemasonry. And my primary activity in Council on Foreign Relations was on figuring out how to fight terrorism"

Nato today announced it was ending its bombing campaign which helped Libyan rebels overthrow Muammar Gaddafi's regime. Officials said all operations for the air and sea campaign will conclude at midnight on Monday, as the strikes were described as 'one of the most successful' operations in the history of the 62-year-old alliance. Nato stopped its bombing missions soon after Gaddafi's death earlier this month, but has maintained regular air patrols. Of course, the 9/11 Truther movement probably has its most receptive fan base in the Middle East. About six days ago, Iranian leader Ahmadinejad made Truther claims before the UN General Assembly: Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said he believes - as an engineer - the World Trade Center towers could not have been brought down by aircraft.Interviewed after his address to the UN General Assembly sparked a walkout, he told the AP news agency some kind of planned explosion must have occurred. But he stopped short of saying the US staged the disaster 10 years ago. He had been...

I want to state at the outset that this essay is not intended to be an endorsement of Ron Paul. While I respect and admire many of his positions and his fidelity to the Constitution, I have strong misgivings about some of his stances on national security. If you could hear the debates between myself and my 20-year-old son, a passionate Ron Paul supporter, you would readily accept the sincerity of my disclaimer. That said, as the political season has heated up, I've been surprised at the tone of the discourse as it relates to Ron Paul. In fact, I...

Ahmadinejad blasts U.S. over "mysterious" 9/11 (CBS/AP) Making reference to what he called the "mysterious September 11th incident" and the "slave masters and colonial powers" of the West, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad excoriated Western member nations in an address to the United Nations General Assembly in New York. The Iranian leader's appearance Thursday has been met with protests by groups infuriated by his past comments calling Israel a "tumor" that should be wiped off the map and suggesting that the Holocaust did not occur. Ahmadinejad attacked the United States for it's history of slavery, causing two world wars, using a...

Los Angeles – The campaign of GOP presidential candidate Ron Paul, who decisively won the California Republican state GOP straw poll Saturday, spent $25,000 on the effort — one his backers say displayed a “depth of support” and organizational strength for Paul in the 2012 campaign. Paul’s commanding win gave him 44.9 percent of the 883 votes cast by attendees at the 3-day state convention at the JW Marriott Hotel here. Coming in second was Texas Gov. Rick Perry with 29.3 percent, followed by a dramatic drop-off for former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney at 8.8 percent. Rep. Michele Bachmann came...

Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul was hushed by deafening boos from a crowd of Tea Partiers at Monday's GOP Presidential debate, after suggesting America's foreign police played a role in the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Mr Paul attempted to position his argument to slash military spending, contending that occupation was the 'real motivation' behind acts of terrorism by Muslim extremists against the U.S. But a provocative retort from presidential candidate, Pennsylvania lawmaker Rick Santorum, instead drew wide support, after he dismissed Mr Paul's comments as 'irresponsible'. Prior to the Tea Party debate, Mr Paul, 76, had reflected on the U.S. response...

Ten years after the devastating Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, some Bay Area residents continue to question the official version of events, and will discuss their doubts at a film festival in Oakland and San Francisco this week. The slate of films includes "Loose Change 9/11: An American Coup," "9/11: Explosive Evidence -- Experts Speak Out," and "We Were Also Killed on 9/11: First Responders." Similar events are being held in Seattle and in Toronto, and a portion of those events will be broadcast live in the Bay Area as part of the film festival.

This makes me sick. Ron Paul again blames the US for the 9-11 Al-Qaeda massacre. The Des Moines Register reported, via Free Republic: Two weeks away from the tenth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, presidential candidate and Texas Rep. Ron Paul says that U.S. intervention in the Middle East is a main motivation behind terrorist hostilities toward America, and that Islam is not a threat to the nation. At a campaign stop on Saturday in Winterset, one man asked Paul how terrorist groups would react if the U.S. removed its military presence in Middle Eastern nations, a move the candidate advocates. “Which...

The "Internet Reformation" (as we call it) is a natural outgrowth of our perception that the 'Net itself is a kind of modern-day Gutenberg Press. It's a concept we've been writing about for nearly a decade. Initially, it seemed like an interesting theory, but everything keeps falling into place and the historical parallels are startling. What they seem to reveal is an upcoming electronically-based Renaissance of sorts. This is of course not necessarily a popular view. The alternative Internet media is often relentlessly gloomy. One is bombarded daily with information about the 5,000-year-old evil of the Illuminati, the impossibility of...

Charlotte Thompson Iserbyt served as the head of policy at the Department of Education during the first administration of Ronald Reagan. While working there she discovered a long term strategic plan by the tax exempt foundations to transform America from a nation of rugged individualists and problem solvers to a country of servile, brainwashed minions who simply regurgitate whatever they're told. Part one of our exclusive interview with Iserbyt breaks down how conditioning/training under a corporate agenda has replaced traditional education, leading to a deliberate dumbing down of Americans. Iserbyt further explains how Reagan signed agreements merging the U.S. and...

The man who likely has done more than anyone to put the libertarian philosophy of freedom and small government on the political agenda probably will make another run for the presidency: U.S. Rep. Ron Paul. Paul is always upbeat, but lately he's had more reason to be, as he sees libertarian ideas bubbling up from the grass roots. "People outside of Washington are waking up," he told me, "and they're getting the attention of a few in Washington." Paul has been in Congress more than 20 years, and much of that time he's played a lonely role, often being the...

The professor's pronouncements about Osama Bin Laden are stupid and ignorant. Anybody visiting the Middle East in the last decade has had the experience: meeting the hoarse and aggressive person who first denies that Osama Bin Laden was responsible for the destruction of the World Trade Center and then proceeds to describe the attack as a justified vengeance for decades of American imperialism. This cognitive dissonance—to give it a polite designation—does not always take that precise form. Sometimes the same person who hails the bravery of al-Qaida's martyrs also believes that the Jews planned the "operation." As far as I...

Liberals sure do get uppity when you want to suggest their hero might not actually be a born American. In deference to them, being American is a state of mind more than a birthright. We know this because there isn't anything American about the soapbox lefties choose to stand on. They like to call their "progressive" positions American, but last time I checked a social justice cocktail wasn't the drink of choice for the Founding Fathers, and they cared more about spreading butter than wealth. They can cry foul all they want when Donald Trump "feeds the animals," but...

A federal grand jury in Spokane has added a federal hate crime to the charges pending against Kevin William Harpham, an alleged white supremacist suspected of planting a backpack bomb along the city's Martin Luther King Jr. Day parade route. Harpham is named in a new four-count indictment issued late Thursday. It adds two counts, one relating to a violation of the federal Hate Crimes Act and the other accusing him of attempting to use an explosive device in connection with the hate crime. Harpham faces up to life in prison if convicted. He had earlier pleaded not guilty to...

A couple of weeks ago I did a story about the new provost-elect at Kennesaw State University in Marietta, Georgia. Timothy Chandler was slotted to take over the job this July but it had been discovered that he had done a paper the slanted towards Marxism and once exposed…..there was a rather large backlash from the public. Well…the people have spoken and Dr. Chandler has decided “not to take the job”. (AJC) Accusations of Marxism and being un-American proved too much for Kennesaw State University’s newly selected provost, who withdrew his acceptance of the position on Thursday. Timothy Chandler, tapped...

ONEONTA, N.Y. -- A producer of a documentary alleging conspiracy theories behind the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks has been arrested on drug charges in upstate New York. Oneonta police tell the Daily Star of Oneonta that 27-year-old Korey Rowe and a 19-year-old Bronx man were arrested after selling packets of heroin to an undercover officer. Rowe was arraigned last Friday on a felony count of criminal sale of a controlled substance. Authorities say the Oneonta resident was released from Otsego County Jail after posting $10,000 cash bail. It couldn't be determined if he had a lawyer. Rowe's phone number was unlisted. An Army veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan, Rowe was a producer of "Loose Change," a 2006 film that challenged the official explanation of the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.

By all accounts, an Internet documentary named "Zeitgeist" was the favorite movie of accused Tucson shooter Jared Loughner. Created in 2007 by New York-based conspiracy merchant Peter Joseph, "Zeitgeist" is a two-hour mash-up of old and new conspiracy theories involving religion, the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, and the Federal Reserve system. Its message is simple: "We've been lied to. We've been lied to by every institution.""He wanted to watch it all the time," a teenage friend of Loughner's told the Arizona Republic. "It was cool at first. But then it got weird. It was all he wanted to do.""Zeitgeist" has...

"Two hours into Z-Day, the educational forum associated with the online movie “Zeitgeist,” Peter Joseph, the film’s director and the evening’s M.C., stepped out from behind his lectern and walked forward earnestly on the stage... The evening, which began at 7 with a two-hour critique of monetary economics, became by midnight a utopian presentation of a money-free and computer-driven vision of the future, a wholesale reimagination of civilization, as if Karl Marx and Carl Sagan had hired John Lennon from his “Imagine” days to do no less than redesign the underlying structures of planetary life..."

On Monday night, Rachel Maddow apparently made the following rather shocking claim: MADDOW: Yes, this has happened to a smaller degree before. In 1994, in the first mid-term election after the last Democratic president was elected, we got a slate of candidates that included Helen Chenoweth of Idaho and Steve Stockman of Texas. These two were so close to the militia movement in this country that Mr. Stockman actually received advance notice that the Oklahoma City bombing was going to happen.

In trying to understand how so many Americans adore people like Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, Sarah Palin and Rush Limbaugh I have come to this critical understanding: Poorly educated, terribly informed, intellectually deficient and downright stupid people need idols. They feel angry, frustrated, ignored, cheated and disillusioned by so much going on in American society. They find the emotional, political and philosophical rants by talk show, loud mouth celebrities matching and justifying their feelings. Of course, those celebrities work hard to fan the flames of all that unhappiness and discontent, and also perpetuate ignorance. They sell stupidity to gullible dummies,...

On the 9th anniversary of the Sep. 11 terrorist attacks, Cindy Sheehan, the darling protester the media gave plenty of coverage to due to her opposition to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, spoke to a crowd at All Souls Church in Manhattan, stating that she is a 9/11 truther and believes it was an inside job. "I am a 9/11 truther", Sheehan said. "I do believe it was an inside job." She continued, "We just don’t know – I don’t know – how far inside it went. Peace activist Cindy Sheehan delivered an impassioned speech on the ninth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, claiming allegiance with those who believe the terrorist attacks of that day were orchestrated by the United States government for political gain. “I am a 9/11 Truther,” Sheehan told a large crowd at the All Souls Church on the upper East Side of Manhattan, who endorsed her with a long standing ovation. “I do think it was an inside job,” Sheehan said. “We just don’t know – I don’t know – how far inside it went. The reincarnation of Adolf Hitler, Iran’s genocidal, anti-Semitic president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, knows just how to manipulate our braindead media and intellectual establishments who are all to eager to be distracted by his smoke and mirrors as he plots his Final Solution.I’m watching Fox News right now and Alan Colmes just said, “Look he’s nuts — Ahmadinejad. He’s cuckoo for cocoa puffs. Loco!” No he’s not. Ahmadinejad is in no way insane — just as Hitler, Stalin, Saddam Hussein, and every other totalitarian leader was perfectly sane. They’re not crazy — they are evil. But leftists like Colmes can’t even see...

Ron Paul has some surprising news for the Tea Party: You’re being taken for a ride. At least this is what many libertarians like Ron Paul believe when they see someone like Glenn Beck or Sarah Palin trying to lead the Tea Party at the “restoring honor” rally this weekend. In fact, Ron Paul believes, if you’re looking for real freedom, you should really go back to the core of the constitution and the bill of rights, which Beck and Palin do not fully endorse when you really look at their beliefs. Whether it be Palin’s support for starting more...

I'd like to locate a good source of reality concerning the September 11, 2001 attacks on our country. I remember some stuff I've heard over the years but there is bound to be a site on the 'web that debunks a lot of the misinformation and conspiracy junk out there in people's heads.

As I wrote last year, I find it amazing that the "Birthers" are considered more dangerous and evil than the "Truthers." The Birthers believe that an ambitious man who travelled a lot as a kid has concealed the circumstances of his birth so he could be eligible for the presidency. I don't think they've made their case. And, frankly, I'm not sure I'd want them to at this point. Aside from the horror of a Biden presidency, I for one don't yearn for a constitutional crisis. And while I am sure there are more elaborate and crazier versions of Birtherism,...

LOUISVILLE — Rand Paul sounds nothing like any major candidate for the U.S. Senate in Kentucky ever has, let alone a front-runner for the Republican nomination. He complains as much about actions of those in his own party as he does about Democrats. He has said he doesn't need the Republican power structure to win the party's May 18 primary or the November election to replace U.S. Sen. Jim Bunning. And he rarely mentions Kentucky in stump speeches. Instead, he sticks to his big-picture message of slashing spending, constraining federal powers and imposing term limits on members of Congress. And...

Before the dust had even settled over the ruins of Texas Stadium Sunday, internet forums and Twitter began to hum with rumors that “4/11 was an inside job”…that the alleged planned demolition was, in fact, a CIA plot. The iconic domed arena, long-time home of the NFL Dallas Cowboys, collapsed after a series of explosions which Irving, Texas, city officials claim were planned in order to clear the site for future construction. Conspiracy theorists might wonder why Jesse Ventura took time Friday to talk with the Star Tribune for the first time since he left office in 2003. Common folk might suggest it was simply to gin up publicity for his new book, "American Conspiracies." If you buy that obvious reasoning, you might also believe Sirhan Sirhan acted alone, that the CIA wasn't involved at Jonestown or that the 9/11 terrorist attack was just Osama bin Laden flexing his muscles. As they say on the "X-Files" and Oliver Stone's "JFK," the truth is never that clear. In his just-released book, Ventura again...

The gunman who shot two Pentagon police officers was heavily armed and spent weeks driving to the Capital area from the West Coast, authorities said Friday. Resentment of the U.S. government and suspicions over the 9/11 attacks have surfaced in writings by the Californian identified as the man fatally wounded in a hail of return fire.

Washington - The gunman in the Pentagon shootings may have harbored resentment for the military and had doubts about the facts behind the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

There was a shooting just outside the Pentagon today, at a security checkpoint. Two cops were injured; breaking reports say the suspect, J. Patrick Bedell, has died. The suspect, believed to be a U.S. citizen, walked up to a security checkpoint at the Pentagon in an apparent attempt to get inside the massively fortified Defense Department headquarters, at about 6:40 p.m. local time. “He just reached in his pocket, pulled out a gun and started shooting” at point-blank range, Keevill said. “He walked up very cool. He had no real emotion on his face.” The Pentagon officers returned fire with...
