TULSA, Oklahoma - A Tulsa woman is suing the city's code enforcement officers after she said they cut down her garden with no cause. Denise Morrison said she has more than 100 plant varieties in her front and back yards and all of them are edible and have a purpose. She knows which ones will treat arthritis, which will make your food spicy, which ones keep mosquitoes away and treat bug bites, but she said none of that matter to city inspectors. Last August, Morrison's front and back yards were filled with flowers in bloom, lemon, stevia, garlic chives, grapes,...

Residents of Tulsa's predominantly black north side said Saturday they are afraid a shooter is still roaming their neighborhoods looking for victims after five people were shot -- and three killed -- a day earlier. "We're all nervous," said Renaldo Works, 52, who was getting his hair cut at the crowded Charlie's Angels Forever Hair Style Shop on Saturday morning. "I've got a 15-year-old, and I'm not going to let him out late. People are scared. We need facts. "You don't want to be a prisoner in your own home," he said. Police are still waiting for the results of...

(CBS/AP) TULSA, Okla. - A spree of early-morning shootings within a one-mile span of north Tulsa in which three people were killed and two critically wounded has lead police to suspect the same attacker or attackers are behind them. All five of the victims were shot within an hour, and within a 1-mile radius of each other, police sources tell CBS News, and all five victims were out walking when they were shot. Once upon a time in Tulsa, Okla., there was a flaxen-haired princess with a coterie of loving attendants, a three-hour-a-day grooming regimen and a room full of trophies. Fast-forward seven years to East Oakland. That princess - a champion shih tzu show dog named Pup-Pourri's Briana - was found this week staggering along one of the city's meanest streets, tangled in chicken wire and dirt-encrusted dreadlocks, one of the most bizarre animal-neglect cases Oakland animal control officers have ever seen. "Our best guess is that she was enclosed in chicken wire so tightly she couldn't move, for months if not...

Tulsa Police enter the sixth day of trying to get William Sturdivant to come down from the tower outside FOX23 studios. On Monday afternoon, 25-year old Sturdivant climbed part of the way down before climbing back up to a spot about 100 feet up the 300 foot tower. A Tulsa police negotiator says he believes the man will eventually become so tired and dehydrated that he has to give in to rescue efforts. Onlookers continue to flood parking lots and slow down along Memorial Drive. Negotiators believe spectators are a roadblock in their attempts to talk the man into descending,...
