Glenn Beck isn’t known for keeping his opinions to himself, so when he’s unhappy with a service, the people in charge are going to know about it. Beck says he was treated rudely on an American Airlines flight recently just because of who he is, and that the flight attendant refused to open his drink for him or speak politely even though that courtesy was given to every other passenger. “My flight attendant nearly ‑‑ merely barked the word “breakfast” when he came to me,” he said on his show. “When others were politely asked if they cared for anything...

The theater was packed. "2016: Obama's America" was playing at the local Midway theater in Lewes, Delaware. The movie run began the Friday before Labor Day and I rejoiced. No one goes to the movies "downey ocean" on Labor Day weekend. I decided to go on Labor Day proper. Let the tourists stay at the beach, I was going to the movies. The place was packed. Oh there were a few empty seats but believe me, I go to those movies all the time, granddaughter in tow, and usually about the same time, a middle of the day hour, a...

Clint Eastwood is a Hollywood legend, but not all of his movies were smash hits. Hes no stranger to getting poor reviews. But he may never have received worse reviews than the ones hes hearing from late-night talk-show hosts after his performance at the Republican National Convention on Thursday night, where he spent quality time on national television in spirited debate with a figment of his imagination. Amidst the tired rhetoric, empty platitudes and overwrought attacks, a fistful of awesome emerged in the night where it spent 12 minutes on the most important night of Mitt Romneys life yelling...

Clint Eastwoods speech to the Republican National Convention has been panned as badly delivered and condemned as disrespectful. But it drew some of the most enthusiastic response of any speech at the three-day event. Why is that? Are Republicans a bunch of disrespectful yahoos lacking in appreciation for rhetorical skills? No. Their response counters the critics and demonstrates that there is more than one way to deliver a message. My hunch is that a whole lot of people across the political spectrum were both humored and inspired by the iconic actors words. Of course, the talking heads at MSNBC and...

While, I would appreciateno remakes, this goes double for ones with Arnold Schwarzenegger. It as actually quite interesting how many of Arnolds films were science fiction or fantasy based. It is also interesting how every remake of one of them is a completeflop. The latestedition of Total Recall going to theremake scrap-heap is prime example. Maybe NBC wallows in loony tunes liberal propaganda because its personnel lacks the competence required for factual reporting. For example: NBC News was one of the first to learn of the death of astronaut Neil Armstrong on Saturday, but instead announced the death of astronaut Neil Young. Astronaut Neil Young, first man to walk on moon, dies at age 82, read the NBC News headline shortly after 3 pm EST, which was tweeted out and picked up by thousands of others before it was changed. As a refresher, Neil Young is a 66-year-old rock star who is very much alive.

He has a Massachusetts...

Here's his question, the video and my reply: http://blastedfools.wordpress.com/2012/07/24/aaron-sorkin-the-crack-tv-writer/
