As expected, Democrat El Tinklenberg is going to take another shot at Republican U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann next year. The former Blaine mayor and state transportation commissioner visited the state Capitol pressroom Monday to tell reporters he's definitely running in the 6th District congressional race. Tinklenberg challenged Bachmann last year and narrowly lost, 46 percent to 43 percent, with an Independence Party candidate getting 10 percent of the vote.

"I assumed most people already knew that I had supported Obama. Anyone who has spent five minutes listening to my program would have known that. But if it helped to make it official, I'm happy to make it so, I fully endorse Barack Obama for President of the United States" Ronald Reagan

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Just back from Washington, D.C., South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham painted a very bleak picture of what he expects for the country if the bailout plan fails. Graham spoke in front of a foreclosed home on Avondale Drive in Greenville. He said if the plan doesn't pass soon, more banks will fold. Businesses will close and people will lose their jobs. As least twice he mentioned that the economy could be headed for a depression.

The former "First Son" has done radio (most recently on KIRO in Seattle, where he lives) and lots of TV - for CNN, MSNBC, ABC News "20/20" and even Animal Planet. Now Air America Senior VP/Programming Bill Hess brings Reagan on board to host the 8-9pm weeknight hour, following Rachel Maddow (6-8pm). Reagan says "there are too few progressive voices in the media, and Air America plays an important and vital role." He starts Monday night, September 8.

Former First Lady Nancy Reagan is not attending this week’s Republican convention but her son, Ron, is. Newsweek.com’s Tammy Haddad and her TamCam caught up with the son of the Republican icon. You can watch it HERE and hear Reagan describe his mother’s fondness for the current Democratic nominee. “John McCain and my mother have known each for years and years. Her parents, and Cindy McCain’s parents go way back in Phoenix, Arizona. She’s grateful to John McCain for standing with her on the issue of stem cells and, of course, has officially endorsed him. She’s fine with John McCain,...

NEW YORK — A week into the cross-country launch of a radio talk show for "Godless infidels," the son of the late former President Ronald Reagan will be a guest. Ron Reagan will speak this weekend on Freethought Radio, which Air America Radio is now broadcasting nationally, about his own atheism.

Going, going, gone — say good-bye to talk-show hosts Ron Reagan and New York Vinnie and soon, just about all sports talk on 710 KIRO. In a major programming move, KIRO has eliminated Reagan's one-hour daily talk show and filled the time slot with "The Dori Monson Show," still three hours but now airing earlier, from noon to 3 p.m. The shuffle, an attempt by KIRO to retake its once-dominant position, means listeners will hear the conservative Monson immediately after Dave Ross, whose show airs 9 a.m.- noon weekdays. "With Dave and Dori you get one individual who leans a...

U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham may have a future as a fiction writer. He's being accused of fabricating a Senate debate and sending it to the U.S. Supreme Court, which didn't think much of the work. The high court dismissed it. At issue is an account of an exchange that Sens. Graham, R-S.C., and Jon Kyl, R-Ariz., wrote last year to be inserted into the Congressional Record. It details what the two lawmakers purported was part of the Senate's debate over why terror detainees held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, should not be tried in civilian U.S. courts. The actual discussion Graham...

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), who sits on the Judiciary Committee and is close to Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), is blocking a nominee to the federal bench whom Graham’s friend opposes, Senate sources say. Conservatives and the American Bar Association consider the nominee, William “Jim” Haynes, one of President Bush’s more qualified. But his nomination has languished in committee since the president tapped him for the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in September 2003. Graham’s blocking of Haynes means the senators need not argue against the administration’s treatment of enemy fighters, which might prove less popular connected to a judicial...

Has anyone noticed that Ron Reagan is a commentator on the AKC Eukanuba National Championship? It's on live now on Animal Planet.I'd rather listen to the dogs.

MSNBC Disconnects "Connected" MSNBC's "Connected: Coast to Coast" died a quiet death on Friday. Monica Crowley and Ron Reagan co-hosted their last show at noon. "Thanks to all of you who have written to say kind things," senior producer Tony Maciulis blogged on MSNBC.com. "We've spent the last year bringing you quality programming -- the kind of political debate show that you don't really see anymore." Or, some would say, the kind of political debate show that we don't want to see anymore. Cliff Kincaid: "...The hosts permitted guests enough time to complete their sentences. It provided a serious forum...

I am disappointed by the Ron Reagan who seems to have rejected his father's common sense in order to get a job with a liberal news outfit. An example: today, Ron made several assertions that "9-11 had nothing to do with Iraq." I believe that is up to debate. There may have been no smoking gun link between that one specific action, but it is clear that Sadaam had ties to terrorists. And having ties to and suppport for terrorist organizations including Al Queda suggests that Sadaam had a real influence on Al Queda's effectiveness and ability to mount large...

Ron Reagan: Why is Lynne Cheney so ashamed of her gay daughter—and shame on the conservatives and shame on Scarborough for trying to spin this against the Democrats because she is a gay woman and there‘s nothing wrong with that. Being a gay person, being a lesbian, is not a pejorative and there was nothing wrong with Kerry saying that. Maybe Lynne Cheney is a bad parent.

It’s time we stopped beating about the Bush Bush’s regime is a cabal of liars and fanatics President Ronald Reagan’s son, Ron Reagan, denounces the US administration as a cabal of liars and calls on American voters to restore decency to their government 19 September 2004 IT MAY have been the guy in the hood teetering on the stool, electrodes clamped to his genitals. Or smirking Lynndie England and her leash. Maybe it was the smarmy memos tapped out by soft-fingered lawyers itching to justify such barbarism. The grudging, lunatic retreat of the neocons from their long-standing assertion that Saddam...

I was flipping through the coverage of the jack@ss convention and came across Ronnie Reagan telling Chris Mathews that President Bush and the SCOTUS stole the election from Al Gore. The former ballerina, claimed that every single vote recount in Florida by the media resulted in Gore winning the popular vote in Florida and therfore the National Electorial College majority in 2000.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Ron Reagan, the younger son of the late President Reagan, criticized the Bush administration's foreign policy, saying he believed the president misled Americans to gain support for the Iraq war. "We lied our way into the war," he said on CNN's "Larry King Live" on Wednesday, referring to allegations that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction and direct connections to al-Qaida. "It's a terrible mistake, a terrible foreign policy error." Reagan, 44, a vocal opponent of his father's conservative politics, said he would vote for anyone who could beat the current president. Reagan also said...
