***This is a story about a baby born at 23 weeks*** Today Emmie-Rose’s Hospital has hit a major blow against us. I believe some of the staff believe we are not providing the correct care for her and had us meet with the “Ethics” committee. At most hospitals the Ethics committee is usually made up of staff, social workers, clergy, and parents of other children. We had a room full of the staff, 1 surgeon, 2 social workers, and Stephanie and I. Let’s just stack all the cards against us. After wasting 2 hours going over the issues, it is...

A Monona (WI) woman is likely to remove the feeding tube of her Marine husband, who is in hospice care with a severe brain injury. Staff Sgt. Chad Simon, 32, was wounded by a roadside bomb Nov. 8 near Fallujah, Iraq. Simon's wife, Regina, had his feeding tube removed last Friday. ON Hardball tonight Matthew's interviewing embedded reporter at Falluja ask her.."are the insurgents manning their posts like at Stalingard?" The impression he wants is that brave Iraq nationalists are fighting US aggressors..he follows up with even more outlandish question.. speaking about the Iraq National Guard and how they may be expected to perform he asks her.."do they think they are being tricked to believe they are fighting terrorists and not Iraqi nationalists? Matthews has a corrupt view of our mission, our people and our marines. I think this is what Zell Miller was talking about.

Ban me, but have the courage to accept the truth. This War is wrong. Many innocent Iraqis have died. Many Americans have died. Iraq is in chaos. No food. No water. No power. I don't care if staged events involving a few criminals and looters make the people appear to be happy. Ask the ones who had their lives destroyed by American bombs. There are no WMDs. America will remain in Iraq long enough to: A) plunder its resouces B) ensure a Bush election victory in spite of massive deficits and a terrible economy. THIS WAR IS WRONG.
