  • Special Important Announcement From White House and Pentagon This Afternoon /s

Dreams . Vanity | My twisted mind
Special announcement today from the presidential press secretary in Washington: Begin: Is everyone here? Are you all rolling? (That is for the radio audio recorders and television cameras) I have a joint statement today for you from the White House and the Department of Defense. First, thank you all for coming in on what for many is a well-deserved day off. I know it’s a beautiful day here in Washington, so I’ll try to make this as quick as possible. I have a statement for you and will be up to take a few questions afterwards. After this briefing concludes,...

Trump: Cruz doesn’t ‘even know what state he comes GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump on Tuesday mocked Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) for mistakenly calling Florida his home state. “His home state is not Florida, it is Texas,” he told host Anderson Cooper during a CNN townhall in Milwaukee. “It might be Canada,” Trump quipped, mocking Cruz’s birthplace. “[But] he didn’t even know what state he comes from. Fort Hood is from Texas by the way. I am so surprised, Anderson, that you let him get away with it.” Cruz accidentally called Florida as his home state while discussing a 2009...
  • Trump Triumphs At GOP Debate. Rivals And Moderators Can't Lay A Glove On Front-Runner

It only benefitted the front-runner. Senators Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz and Governor John Kasich did their best to underscore their policy acumen and to highlight Donald Trump’s lack of substance. It backfired. Neither his opponents on stage nor the debate moderators laid a glove on Trump. When Trump repeatedly called Putin a “strong leader” without refusing to place a value judgment on his leadership, neither moderator Jake Tapper nor his opponents on stage pressed him. When Tapper asked Trump about his violence-inciting rhetoric at rallies, none of Trump’s opponents called him out for refusing to disavow it. There is...

WASHINGTON, DC: When it comes to increasing skilled workers on H-1B visas, one could say presidential candidate Ted Cruz is a bit of a black sheep amongst the GOP.The Republican presidential candidate wants to increase the H-1B visas by 500 percent from its 65,000 to 325,000. Cruz, who announced his run for the Oval office this morning, had made the proposition in 2013 as an amendment to the Senate’s comprehensive immigration bill. While the Senate’s Judiciary Committee torpedoed Cruz’s amendment, they did approve an increase of 180,000 in the H-1B cap, but the House never acted on the legislation. It’s not clear...

The Healthcare Annex, according to WikiLeaks, “seeks to regulate state schemes for medicines and medical devices. It forces healthcare authorities to give big pharmaceutical companies more information about national decisions on public access to medicine, and grants corporations greater powers to challenge decisions they perceive as harmful to their interests.” Dr. Deborah Gleeson, who gave professional review and analysis to WikiLeaks said, “The purported aim of the Annex is to facilitate ‘high-quality healthcare’ but the Annex does nothing to achieve this. It is clearly intended to cater to the interests of the pharmaceutical industry.” Gleeson added, “Nor does this do...

I went to Target to check on shirts. I see a well dressed gentleman, probably in his thirties. A watchdog group is questioning whether Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer could have been more transparent over a year ago in voluntarily disclosing the extent of her past mortgages with the company Countrywide. But Boxer aides strongly argue that the watchdog group’s complaints are without merit and suggest the questions are suspiciously timed, considering how the California senator is locked in a tough re-election fight. Boxer, as chairwoman of the Senate Ethics Committee, led a yearlong investigation beginning in 2008 into whether two Democratic senators acted improperly by being part of a VIP Countrywide program that gave influential clients favorable treatment....

Many seem to think that Satanists are simply people that worship Satan voluntarily and practice witchcraft. However, that is wrong. I would like to widen the definition of "Satanist" to all those who do not accept Christ. As Luke 11:23 says, all those who are not with Christ are against Him. By not accepting Christ, one supports Satan, regardless of whether he/she knows it or not. Every rejection of Christ grows Satan stronger. Jews and Muslims think they oppose Satan, although they are actually supporting him by not following Christ. Members of non-Abrahamic religions and non-religious people lack a belief...

I witnessed a disaster in the desert while working for the Arizona Republic as a reporter and metro columnist. With the Bush administration ending and the Obama administration beginning, it is worth pondering John McCain’s gracious concession speech, giving due consideration to the ways in which the political opposition behaved during the tenures of our last two presidents. Even though President Bill Clinton governed as a centrist and most of his major accomplishments were ripped from the conservative playbook (balancing the federal budget, passing a major free trade act, enacting dramatic reforms of the country’s welfare program), he inspired a visceral hatred from the base of the Republican Party. Lets not keep requesting for same sex marriage. Lets demand that one woman and one man marriges no longer get the benefits that type of marriage receives from federal and state government. When they realize that they have no power of decision making over the health of their mate, that neither one can inherit the social security or the estate they have built and that they loose all the benefits just for the entitlement of one man and one woman marriage certificate. That will stop the religious and political push to change the US Constitution or any state constitution.

  • How do we get Jeb Bush to run as an independent?

How can we get Jeb Bush to run as an independent? Think about it. In an ordinary year, he would have the baggage of Bush fatigue. But I bet he could win in a three-way race against any Democrat and an unreliable, hotheaded, too old, moderate at best, and not very nice candidate like McCain. This could be Jeb’s time, and the best shot he will ever have. He would have no latino problem, being loved in Florida. My thesis was that she is a great entertainer and has enriched herself as a result as she appeals to those who don't need a physician but her delivery is so obnoxious and un-pallatable that she wouldn't win anyone over to the cause even if she is correct. Someone replied to me...
  • Waterboarding IS torture.

The recent debate about waterboarding not being torture is the rationalization that we, the righteous, do not torture. The arguments convolute two separate points. First, they say that waterboarding is not torture and in the next breath they defend its use. “Cdr. Spig’s argument falls apart in the first sentence. “Water-boarding… could be torture in the hands of a sadist.” In the field, in secret prisons, who do you think gets the job. The one who wants it i.e. the sadist. Why do you think tapes depicting its use were destroyed. If they were aired on CNN there would be...
