Sen. Kamala Harris of California was introduced before a crowd in Atlanta, Georgia Sunday by a speaker who smeared Attorney General Jeff Sessions, implying he is a part of the KKK. Harris, was introduced to a black church by Eugene Duffy, described by AP News as a “personal friend of Harris.” Duffy reportedly introduced her by lauding her questioning of “that white supremacist Jeff Sessions,” saying he “pulled [Sessions’] sheet off.” Harris also used the speech to talk about what she saw as a more united America than some think. The senator said, “I believe it is time we replace...

Two conservative journalists have sparked outcry on social media by making what some have interpreted as a white supremacist hand symbol at a recent visit to the White House. Freelance journalist Mike Cernovich and Cassandra Fairbanks, a reporter for Russian news outlet Sputnik, posed for a picture behind the podium in the White House briefing room. In the photo, they are making a hand sign that can be used to signify “white power.” “Just two people doing a white power hand gesture in the White House,” Fusion senior reporter Emma Roller tweeted, alongside a screenshot of the picture. I get what the peerless Jen Palmieri was getting at a week ago. She was doing the liberal thing, hurling a liberal pejorative at Kellyanne Conway, breaker of the glass ceiling. She was playing the liberal race card. And if “raaaciss” doesn’t immediately come to mind, “white supremacist” will do the job. Do liberals actually go to school to learn how to do this? But still, I wonder. What exactly does “white supremacist” mean? Let us repair to the teachable moment of In the Heat of the Night when a black policeman arrives in a southern town to investigate a...

Yeah, about that . . . Things are going to be awfully uncomfortable at the cabinet meetings from the looks of things. When the KKK flag is brought in and everyone puts on the white sheets and hoods, how will they explain the black HUD Secretary, the Sikh female UN ambassador and the female Secretary of Education? Donald Trump is shaping up to be the worst racist since Abe Lincoln. Here’s your race-obsessed New York Times:

A 32-year-old man was shot at least twice by Waco police officers Tuesday after he ran from a U.S. Marshals task force and displayed a handgun, Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said. Jonathan Tucker Gober ran from officers serving a warrant for a felony parole violation about 4:30 p.m., and the pursuit ended with the shooting behind a house near the intersection of 30th Street and Lyle Avenue on Tuesday afternoon. “The officers were attempting to arrest that individual on a felony parole violation for a felony counterfeiting charge, and while doing so, that male produced a cocked handgun...

I passed on this yesterday because I agreed with what Lewandowski says here, more or less. It’s not a matter of political correctness or incorrectness, it’s a matter of “dog whistle” accusations being unfalsifiable. How do you prove that Trump, or whoever posted that image from his account, saw something anti-semitic in the shape of the star and tweeted it out hoping that others would see it too? As a matter of strategy, how would it benefit him to do something like that? White supremacists, presumably the target audience for the “dog whistle,” have been vocal about supporting him, but...

Some registered voters in Iowa received robocalls Saturday from a white nationalist super PAC that urged them to support Donald Trump in the 2016 election. "I urge you to vote for Donald Trump because he is the one candidate who points out that we should accept immigrants who are good for America," Jared Taylor said on the robocall, paid for by the American National Super PAC. "We don't need Muslims. We need smart, well-educated white people who will assimilate to our culture. Vote Trump." Taylor is the founder of the white supremacist magazine American Renaissance. The robocall included two more...

Rand Paul is the most interesting contender for the Republican nomination. And when I say interesting, I mean that in the broadest sense. A case in point: Last week, the Kentucky senator hit some turbulence when the Washington Free Beacon reported that Jack Hunter, Paul’s aide and the co-author of his book, The Tea Party Goes to Washington, was once the Southern Avenger. Who’s that? Starting in the 1990s, as a radio shock-jock, Hunter would wear a wrestling mask made from a Confederate flag, while making jokes about the assassination of Abraham Lincoln and having the South re-secede. “Although Lincoln’s...

FRANKFORT — Kentucky Democratic Party Chairman Dan Logsdon called on U.S. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell Wednesday to condemn U.S. Sen. Rand Paul's hiring of a staffer with a history of making controversial comments about race. Washington Free Beacon, a conservative online publication, reported Tuesday that Paul staffer Jack Hunter is a former talk-radio host who called himself the "Southern Avenger" and is a former member of the League of the South, a group that advocates Southern secession. "Senator McConnell likes Republicans to call him leader, and he has made himself heard on every issue he deems of consequence, real...

Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., defended a Senate aide who once espoused pro-secession and neo-Confederate views, calling him “incredibly talented” during an interview with the Huffington Post. The Washington Free Beacon Tuesday reported that Jack Hunter, who serves as social media director for Paul, once worked as a radio shock jock for two different stations in Charleston, S.C., advocating for secession and the Confederacy. Hunter, who helped write Paul’s book “The Tea Party Goes to Washington,” called himself the “Southern Avenger” and wore a Confederate flag mask at public appearances. “People are calling him a white supremacist,” Paul said in an...

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- El Paso County authorities have arrested a member of a white supremacist gang linked to the killing of Colorado Corrections Director Tom Clements. Police told CBS Affiliate KKTV that 47-year-old James Lohr, the 211 gang member linked to murder suspect Evan Ebel, was arrested overnight. The El Paso County Sheriff's Department also confirmed the arrest to KKTV. KRDO-TV reports Lohr was taken into custody early Friday following a short foot chase after authorities stopped a car. Authorities want to question Lohr in connection to Clements' murder.

A California boy, now 12, was convicted of second-degree murder today for shooting dead his neo-Nazi father, following a juvenile trial that centered on abuse allegations and the young defendant’s grasp of right and wrong. The verdict by Superior Court Judge Jean Leonard means that Joseph Hall, who shot his father to death in May 2011, could be sentenced to a juvenile facility until he is 23. Hall’s attorneys had conceded during the trial that Hall, who was then 10 years old, shot his father at point-blank range while the older man was sleeping, but argued that the boy should...

Five people were shot to death, including a toddler, at a house in the Phoenix suburb of Gilbert on Wednesday, and a white supremacist border militiaman apparently was among them. Authorities have not released the victims' identities, but the private militia group U.S. Border Guard reported that one of the dead was Jason "J.T." Ready, its founder. Members of the organization say they arm themselves and patrol the border with Mexico to try to combat "narco-terrorists." Ready also advocated putting a minefield on the border.

Here we go again. Eric Holder’s Justice Department last month oversaw a guilty plea for solicitation of kidnapping, a federal offense. Jayen Patel entered a plea in New Jersey for soliciting a purported white supremacist (actually an FBI agent acting as a white supremacist) to conduct a kidnapping. I wrote earlier this week and appeared on Fox News to say that solicitation of kidnapping is a federal crime. The New Black Panther Party has put a bounty out on George Zimmerman being taken “dead or alive.” From Eric Holder, crickets. The bounty posters, incidentally, changed from the original posters...

The left has wasted no time in reacting to the Norway tragedy in the predicted way. Plumbing the depths of integrity, they quickly pointed to his white skin and assumed he had to be a far-right 'Christian fundamentalist'. Using some sort of warped process of elimination, the fact that the terrorist was not Muslim meant he must be a Christian. It didn't matter that the lie was exposed by Anders Behring Breivik himself in his rambling 1500+ word manifesto when he claimed not to have a 'personal relationship' with Jesus. The whitewash was already in full gear. I knew one...
