Police are investigating hate crimes at Western Connecticut State University. A student discovered a gay slur written on a dry erase board outside her dorm room inside Litchfield Hall Feb. 27. She did not report the incident right away. The resident director was notified of the slur and contacted police March 2, according to authorities.
