To call someone a racist can be a cheap way to shut down all debate. As Andrew Breitbart correctly noted on Bill Maher’s show, “calling a person a racist is the worst thing you can call a person in this country”. Strangely, however, it is a charge that is often flung around without any evidence whatsoever. Check out how Wilson is branded a “racist pig” here. Take the case of Congressman Joe Wilson, whose intemperate “You lie!” outburst is still prompting much angst on the Left and adoration on the Right. He was clearly wrong to shout what he did....

What is WRONG with these racebaiters?[VIDEO AT SITE] "I guess we'll have folks putting on white hoods and robes again and riding through the countryside intimidating people." -- Congressman Hank Johnson (D-GA) Congressman Wilson is the "face" of the new KKK?These are the words and thoughts of the congressman who replaced the nutjob Cynthia McKinney, famous for slapping a Capitol Hill policeman who didn't recognize her and asked for her I.D. Apparently, she's not the only racebaiting fool in Georgia's 4th Congressional District. Besides, the only member of the U.S. Congress who DID wear the white hood is U.S. Senator...

This afternoon our Comcast digital cable box switched to C-span by itself while Democrats were trashing Rep. Wilson. The box would not allow us to watch any other station for approximately 15 minutes. When I called to complain Comcast technical support said that they were performing a "test of the emergency broadcast system" that switched all digital boxes in Western Washington to C-span and would not allow subscribers to watch anything else. They said that the programming taking place on C-span was merely a coincidence.

WASHINGTON -- The House voted along party lines Tuesday to "disapprove" the actions of Rep. Joe Wilson, who shouted "You lie!" during President Barack Obama's address to Congress last week. Republicans dismissed the move as petty, noting the president had already accepted an apology from Mr. Wilson, a South Carolina Republican.

House Votes to Discipline Wilson for Outburst The House of Representatives, on the heels of an impassioned and lively debate, voted Tuesday to formally admonish Rep. Joe Wilson, R-S.C., for accusing the president of lying during a joint session of Congress a week ago. The vote was 240-179. Five lawmakers voted "present." Ahead of the tally, lawmakers hurled an arsenal of accusations at each other over the issue, with Republicans calling the effort a "partisan stunt" and Democrats stepping up their condemnation of Wilson's original offense. The decision to punish him on the floor of the House was made even...

In a rare action, the House rebuked one of its members Tuesday for shouting "you lie" at President Obama last Wednesday, ending a week-long standoff during which Democrats demanded a public apology that the lawmaker refused to give. On a largely party-line vote, the House voted 240 to 179 to ratify a "resolution of disapproval" against Rep. Joe Wilson (R-S.C.) for interrupting Obama's speech last week before a joint session of Congress. Just 12 Democrats opposed the resolution against Wilson, while seven Republicans supported the disapproval motion. Five Democrats voted "present," rather than cast a yes or no vote. During...

Computerworld - A company providing online payment-processing services for U.S. Rep. Joe Wilson (R-S.C.) is back online after being disrupted by a distributed denial-of-service attack over the weekend. The attack on Piryx began Friday afternoon and lasted into the early hours of Saturday morning, temporarily disrupting a Wilson fundraising effort that was under way at that time, Piryx CEO Tom Serres said. It also knocked out services for about 150 other Piryx clients, he said. Piryx is a nonpartisan Austin-based start-up that provides services to help political candidates and nonprofits manage online campaigns and fundraising.

I think by now, we all realize that “you will be able to keep your insurance if you like it”, and “we will pay for all of this without raising taxes on anyone making less that $250,000″ are probably not exactly accurate. And, of course, Rep. Joe Wilson (R. S.C.) exposed the “illegal aliens” will not be covered myth. However, thanks to Scott Harrington’s article in Monday’s Wall Street Journal, we learn that certain other statements made by the President last Wednesday night were, well,” not exactly”.

In a move dripping hypocrisy, Democrats in the House are poised to introduce a floor resolution today to condemn Rep. Joe Wilson (R-S.C.) for his outburst during the President’s health care speech to a joint session of Congress last week. After a long litany calling those opposing government-run health care “Liars,†the President claimed in his speech that millions of illegal aliens would not be covered under the Democrat scheme, despite the fact that amendments to every bill were voted down by Democrats in committee that would have specifically required proof of citizenship to sign up. An incredulous Wilson shouted...

CHARLESTON, S.C., Sept. 15 (UPI) -- A U.S. representative's shouting down the president led to potential tourists canceling plans to visit South Carolina, state and local tourism officials said. Out-of-state residents who said they've vacationed for years at Myrtle Beach, Hilton Head and other resorts have e-mailed their destination sites to say they don't plan to return, McClatchy Newspapers reported. Last week, Rep. Joe Wilson, R-S.C., shouted "You lie" as President Barack Obama discussed his healthcare reform package during a joint session of Congress. Wilson later apologized to Obama, but has been roundly criticized from both sides of the aisle....

This one: Not this one: Congressman Joe Wilson (R-SC) appears to be a decent and honorable man. Part of his background includes military service (with four sons currently serving). His impassioned outburst during President Obama's healthcare speech may seem out of step with his character and his military discipline, but he vented/channeled what many frustrated Americans were shouting into their tv sets, while provoking a million-mob strong march to turn out in D.C.: You LIE. Not only is former ambassador Joe Wilson a liar; but the current president of the United States is one, too. Congressman Wilson broke decorum and...

'You Lie!' Shout Brings Vote on SanctionRacial Issue Simmers as Black Democrats Lead Push Against Wilson By Paul Kane Washington Post Staff Writer Tuesday, September 15, 2009 House Democrats plan to formally reprimand Rep. Joe Wilson (R-S.C.) on Tuesday for his outburst last week in which he accused President Obama of lying about proposed health-care legislation. The vote on punishment will resolve the issue in the House, but behind the incident some see a broader question: Is racism a factor in the way the president is being judged? With two simple words -- "You lie!" -- shouted during Obama's speech...

Rep. Joe Wilson (R-S.C.), under fire since his shout of "You lie!" at President Obama during last week's presidential address to Congress, took to the House floor Monday afternoon but did not offer the public apology that Democratic leaders have been demanding to avert a vote to reprimand the lawmaker later this week. Instead, Wilson, who has been hailed as a hero by conservative activists -- and whose supporters have filled his campaign coffers with nearly $1 million in less than a week -- gave a short summary of the town-hall meetings he held on the proposed health-care legislation during...

If someone calls you out as a liar, and you respond “no, it is not true” – in my book, you just called the person a liar in a polite way. Rep. Joe Wilson (R-S.C.) – send money here – called out President Obama, Obama then called Wilson a liar, and then on Friday night the Senate took a closer look at the health care legislation and quietly added a citizenship requirement.

There is a new President in town and he is willing to say and do anything in order to get his health care bill passed. The Democrats and their bedfellows, the mainstream media, are with him all the way. Their aim is to make sure this President is treated like royalty, never held accountable for what he says and does, and that he gets his health care bill passed. Together, this love triangle of power has created their own set of rules regarding the President, a protocols of lyin'. Republicans and Blue Dog Democrats take note. Congressman Joe Wilson, did...
