The name I have that matters most is Christian. I’m common as dirt, an Army brat with brothers and family in various branches of the military as far back as anyone can recall, all grunts.

My family consists of rich and poor, urban and rural, educated and not, Catholic and various Protestant, various languages and cultures. We have Republicans, Democrats, Independents, Libertarians, some that don’t know and some that don’t care.

I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas and lived there for about 50 years, after my husband died, I remarried and moved up here to Illinois.
