A lurker since 1999... I am the grandfather of six, the father of five and the husband of one in my fifth decade of life. I am directly descended from ancestors who arrived on this continent via the Mayflower, who fought in the Revolutionary War, and who fought in the Civil War. My father was a CPO in the US Navy and served aboard the USS Enterprise in 20 of the 22 major battles in the Pacific during WWII while my mother, as 'Rosie the Riveter' helped build the planes that flew off of the flight deck of the Big 'E'.
I am a former Pastor, prison Chaplin, business owner for 20+ years, and currently the President of a media advertising company. I am a 'United States Soccer Federation' licensed coach (18 teams, 7 league and 1 state championships) and state referee. My greatest joy is spending time on a soccer pitch with the kids. I've been accused of being a 'career student' (500+ university credit hours) with 2 bachelors, 2 masters and 2 doctoral degrees. Politically, just a little to the right of Attila the Hun.
I greatly admire, Rush Limbaugh, Walter E Williams, Mark Levin, Thomas Sowell, Mark Steyn and Ward Connerly. My favorite president is Ronald Reagan. He became so the day he refused to be black mailed by the Air Traffic Controllers Union and fired them all. I thought 'W' had the potential to be like Reagan more than anyone else at the time, but he blew it with politically motivated inconsistencies such as completely open and unprotected borders while little old ladies are strip searched at airports and failing to stop the tidal wave of illegal aliens. Turned out he was more 'neo' than 'con'.
I am in favor of common sense, strong national defense, winning the Iraq war, winning the war on terror, Patriot Act, life, strict constructionalist Supreme Court Justices, making the Bush tax cut permanent, balancing the budget, sunset legislation for entitlements, a constitutional amendment defining marriage, death penalty, 3 strikes you're out, school vouchers, abolishing the Department of Education, drilling in ANWR, liquefied coal development, military, balanced playing field for international trade, 2nd amendment, aggressive interrogation techniques of terrorists, FBI wiretaps, keeping terrorists at Gitmo, border fence, deportation of illegals, cutting off federal funds to sanctuary cities, English as the official language, privatizing social security, sanctions on Iran, military strike on selected Iranian targets, prayer in public school and limited federal government.
I am against minimum wage laws of any kind, national healthcare, anthropogenic global warming theory, political correctness and liberalism.
I'm an American flag wavin', conservative (with a libertarian streak), evangelical, premillenial, pretribulational, Jesus lovin' Christian who is eagerly listening for the sound of the trump. And I think it's about to blow.
