Born in the peak year of the baby-boom on the anniversary of Lincoln being shot and the Titanic hitting the iceberg in the largest town between Wichita, KS and Pueblo, CO. cryptic enough?

Left home to see the world--- Army sent me to San Antonio, TX. Met a Sergeant, married, when he retired, we moved back to southwest Kansas.

A.K.A. Baldwidow, I lost my husband and my hair in 1999. Then my house burned down in 2003. Praise the LORD it was during the day and no one was hurt, because I had lots of grandchildren at thehouse at the time.

After raising 7 kids, I now have cats. My motto: Same mess, less stress.

Other Quotes: The Sunset is no less beautiful than the sunrise.

9/11 is a date. 911 is a phone number.

"In Germany, the Nazis first came for the Communists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, but I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me...By that time there was no one to speak up for anyone." -- The Reverend Martin Niemoller

Brilliant things I thought --- but they don't come out as good when written down:

Christ-iphobia? Yes. Those who don't lovingly embrace the homosexual agenda are called 'homo-phobes.' Doesn't it make sense that those who oppose Christianinty are Christ-iphobes? I am NOT of the ancient Roman religion, therefore I refuse to call next month January, named after Janus. In fact, Christians should demand that they change all names of all the months. To what? hmmm First month, Second month,....

And I don't worship the sun or the moon either. We must change the names of the days of the week from SUNday, MOONday and those other guys like Thor's day, Saturn Day,... Until we come up with something acceptable, it will be Firstday, Seconday, .....

As for Christmas, Christians should take the secularism out of Christmas by moving the gift giving and other 'commercialistic activities to New Years Day. Christians should reserve Christmas for religious celebration such as church services, parades and plays about Jesus Christ, and by the gift of "service" to others. Secularist would then find themselves celebrating on a religious holiday, while Christians confused retailers by delaying their shopping until the after Chrstmas sales.

For this year and next, Christmas will be on a weekend. By 2006, these Christ-iphobes should decide whether they will be working on the 25th like any other day, or not.

Christ-iphobia? Yes. Those who don't lovingly embrace the homosexual agenda are called 'homo-phobes.' Doesn't it make sense that those who oppose Christianinty are Christ-iphobes?

I shed allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the oligarchy for which it stands one nation, defying God, with laws and due process for all

The daughter of Bob and Mary Schindler has died, slowly executed by court order. Even in her death, the parents and their other children remain the example of peaceful forgiving Christians. While many Teri supporters angrily lash out at Michael Schiavo, George Felos, the court and even elected officials, the family asks for peace. And now they are asking only for the body of their daughter, which is also being legally denied. What beautiful people.....

Or ---- is this 21st Century re-enactment of Uncle Tom's Cabin ? I know many people would be offended that I would make such a suggestion but the comparison is real. It has been a while since I've read the book so please forgive me if I am not entirely correct about the story.

Like the Schindler family, Uncle Tom and his fellow slaves were living a quiet peaceful life, until the tragic turn of events. Then Uncle Tom and other slaves were sold to the evil Simon Legree. Uncle Tom accepted his fate to the end, never fighting back. He met another slave, Cassy, whose two children had been sold. Rather than have another child to be born into slavery, she killed the next baby she had.

Then there was Eliza. She also had a child. Choosing to 'violate the law' rather than remain a slave, she took her child and fled north.

Terri Schindler Schiavo is not the only innocent person who is or has been legally executed in this country. She is just the one that has made the national and even international news. Most of these executions happen in quiet, much like the slave who killed her babies. No one to speak up for them.

There are others who 'violate the law' to save the innocent condemned to death. Sometimes, the victim is kidnapped and secreted to other states or even countries. A few families have done the extreme and killed or attempted to kill the person who was harming their family member. Surely any parent can understand this act of desperation, whether they condone it or not.

No pro-life person would condemn the Schindlers for using every legal means to save their daughter. Although poll questions show that the majority of Americans supported removing the feeding tube from Terri, how many would answer the same way if the question was re-phased, "If your own child was injured and brain-damaged like Terri Schindler Schiavo, able to breath on her own, and apparently move and look around to a limited extent, would you remove all food and water and allow you own child to die of dehydration?"

Uncle Tom's Cabin is only one of many comparisons for the tragedy of Terri's death. More people can see the re-emergence of the Nazi eugenics program, where a half-million handicapped people were killed before Hitler even started his 'final solution' of the Jews. But even later most of the Jews went peacefully to the slaughter.

Exodus, chapter 1, Pharaoh ordered the deaths of newborn Hebrew males. When midwives disobey the law, Pharoah ordered his own people to kill the male Hebrew babies. Only Moses was singled out as being saved by his mother. How many other parents peacefully obeyed the law? Today, in China, women are forced to get abortions. Some try to escape and save their babies, but most give in to the law which does not allow them to have a baby without prior permission.

And there are so many other real life examples of the law condemning an innocent person to death and Uncle Tom's Cabin is just one story that shows a few of the many reactions people have to such a horrendous situation..
