I'm a student who turned to conservatism after 9/11. I just graduated Valedictorian from my high school class and one day stumbled across Democratic Underground. I become hooked. Not because I agreed but because they had posted ideas that you never hear on tv. After a while, whenever I read DU I would almost get sick, I'd worry, and think everything was going down the tubes...so I thought "there must be something out there like DU for conservatives..." and I always read about "FReepers" so I plugged a few things into Google, and here I am, and more sane for it.
