I'm a native West Virginian.

I officially retired from the Army on September 30, 1999.

I’m not a war hero. My views are conservative, pro-defense and pro Soldier. Like everyone, I have an opinion.

My first line leadership book, The Three-Meter Zone: Common Sense Leadership for NCOs was released by Presidio Press in April, 1999. Presidio was purchased by Random House and now TMZ is under the Ballatine label.
