Conservative (slightly to the right of Rush, I think).
Politically I typically vote Republican. But I am not a rubberstamp vote.
That said, I'm quite unhappy with the George Bush Republicans. I don't like their stand on illegal aliens, their tendency to spend money like a drunken sailor, their failure to deal decisively with Iran, their failure to prosecute the WOT as a *WAR*, their cut 'n run on individual retirement accounts, their inability to use their advantageous position to communicate to the populus, etc.
BUT... that doesn't mean I'd vote for a vermin Democrat "just because" they aren't a GWB republican. Get it?
I'm a Christian. That is, I believe that Jesus Christ is the son of the one and only living God. He was born of the virgin Mary and led a perfect life on earth. As was His Father's will, Jesus chose to give his life on the cross at Calvary as the ultimate sacrificial lamb, willingly bearing the burden of mankind's sin. I am a sinner but through Him I have forgiveness. I guess that makes me one of them there "fundamentalist Christians". So be it.
I'm happily married (to "YouGoTexasGirl").
I'm a middle of the pack triathlete. It keeps me from getting too fat.
I work in the semiconductor industry, as a programmer/project manager/engineer/executive/hellraiser.
I have lurked at Free Republic since 2001.
