I joined the Army at 17 after finishing a Catholic high school. Although I was nominated to West Point, I wasn't accepted. I did two incomplete tours in Viet-Nam as a light weapons infantryman, about 20.5 months total, between April 70 and June 72. Among other jobs I've done are taxi driver and chemist. Currently I'm a board certified Osteopathic Family Physician. My other consuming interests are the military and politics.
I don't remember ever voting for someone endorsed by the Democrats or the NY State Liberal Party. From what I can tell, mostly all of my ancestors and family were democrats. I'm registered with the NY Conservative Party, but have strong libertarian sympathies. I believe the WOD is a hopeless fool's errand, expanding goverment, increasing corruption and crime, as well as decreasing our liberties. I agree with needle exchanges to decrease the spread of AIDS.
Remember the song by the Animals "We got to get out of this place"?
