I grew up in Flint, Michigan in a very pro-labor union, "Democrats-for-generations" family. My earliest memories of my conversion were the debates my grandfather and I had in my late teens over the direction of the UMWA. In my early twenties, I discovered Rush Limbaugh on TV!! His TV schedule, unfortunately, was erratic and I was unable to keep up with the time slot changes, so I became a radio fan.

Needless to say I was the first in my family to leave the Democrat Party...then my older brother...then my younger sister. My Mom and Dad were not too far behind.

Currently, I live and work in WV.
