What is The Looking Spoon?

The short answer is it is a conservative satire, humor, commentary, and art blog....and now for the long answer:

When you look at a spoon from the front everything is inverted, your reflection appears upside down. When you look at its backside (or from a backwards perspective), everything is right-side up.

Welcome to The Looking Spoon.

The overall mission of The Looking Spoon is to create original, humorous, satirical, biting, aggressive commentary from a conservative to center-right point of view using art and blog posts. Some posts contain a level of “interactivity” you won’t necessarily see in other blogs.

In addition to this it will strive to be a portal to other quality sites that give original satire, humor, commentary, and maybe even a bit of education from a more conservative perspective.

That said....The Looking Spoon isn’t trying to be another conservative “news” blog out there to compete with all the others. There is an assumption that anyone who comes here is fairly up to speed with whats generally going on in the world right now...as a result not a lot of foundation is laid for the subject matter addressed, which usually allows posts to get right to the point. The goal is to be entertaining with a dash of informative.

Many blog posts are somewhat interactive and do contain “easter eggs” of sorts. If you mouse over something and it becomes a hand then CLICK ON IT!!! It’ll show you something that would normally go unnoticed. Other times a simple rollover or roll out will suffice.
