I am anti-abortion, undecided on the death penalty, socially and fiscally conservative. I am mostly for the war on terror but think we underestimated its length and severity and will be unsuccessful unless we try to understand the people whose lives we are hoping to improve.

I see no reason why being a conservative has any theoretical connection to supporting Israel. Of course I think suicide bombing is deplorable, but I think settlements are awful as well. I tentatively think a one-state solution with equal rights for Arabs is the answer, but I'm open to respectful debate on the subject.
