Any media outlet that says UFOs are a “threat” is pushing a Deep State agenda.
If aliens wanted us dead we would be dead.
I don’t believe National Geographic is reporting that UFOs are a threat.
Just asking, “What the heck are they?”
Obviously, aliens possessing technology far advanced of our own could wipe us out.
“UFO” carries baggage — aliens, X-Files, etc.
UAPs seems to be a better approach. What are these?
Are they....
1. Our own (human) technology that’s top secret?
2. Our own (human) technology from an alt universe, or our own future?
3. A.I. created with human guidance?
4. Alien - earth based / hidden?
5. Alien - non-earth based / also hidden?
6. An advanced optical illusion? Can also fool radar etc.
Here’s the FAA disclosed (FOIA) of the Texas incident (Erath County) where a UAP flew directly toward George W. Bush when he was POTUS and the Crawford Ranch. Two F16s flew to intercept and hundreds of witnesses saw it.
In the sense, we can do nothing to stop these UAPs and our weapons are useless I suppose that constitutes a “threat” of some type. Right?

The “threat” narrative is designed to ignore many decades of government coverups on the topic.
The goal is to protect the guilty and prevent punishment of them for their “active measures” to protect the secrets of the Deep State.
Dark Journalist Daniel Liszt calls it “XProtect”—a combination Murder Inc. and mass disinformation campaign designed to protect the secrets of high technology held by the Deep State—some alien, some human back-engineered alien, perhaps some ancient hidden human and/or alien ancient advanced civilization who have lived here a lot longer than we have.
The mass media is not our friend.
Perhaps they are threatening to turn retired human businessmen into sex slaves for their very attractive (but obviously not easy satisfied) alien women.;-)
The term “threat” is a brainwashing term designed to cause fear and ultimately obedience to authority.
The propagandists are up to no good.
My point is that threats don't always seek to kill us. There are other nefarious goals that we might not have considered.
