Is the Internet really shutdown in Ottawa?

In other news, a few days ago reports were that Ottawa "Live" cams were being faked, so as to not show the trucks.

Also, 'google' map for 'Ottawa downtown Traffic' - Downtown traffic

Note the gridlock!

The Government is pulling off a lot of stunts lately, but shutting down the Internet would likely be ‘A Bridge Too Far’ in this day and age.
