Obviously outsiders cannot be allowed to pay the salary of federal employees. Just think of the endless corruption that would result in. No, there’s just no money for all these federal workers. Too bad. So Sad. I guess all of you will just need to leave - if you want to make any money at all......

It absolutely is when the reason given is not the complete story, and more importantly, not completely the truth. Because the complete story has to be told for the truth to be understood.
One man, even a President can’t drain the Swamp by himself.
If Trump is re-elected the Potomac will be running pink with all the firings.
That’s not enough, the deep state operatives already have a cheat sheet to know what kind of answers to give.
*To drain the swamp, you’d have to shut down 90% of all federal agencies and departments, get rid of all NGOs, etc. A lot of oxen need to be gored.*
I once read that 10% of the government could be eliminated with no one noticing. That’s how invisible it is. It would be a good start. Not one program was eliminated under Trump, even with a GOP congress.
It will take more than one term and one guy to do anything about permanent DC.

Erect a gallows on the front lawn of the US Capitol so that Congress-critters going in and out can see it.
Make violation of the Oath of Office a hanging offense.

He is an academic. I’ve worked with many. He is definitely one of the better ones, because he’s right. That video ought to be required viewing in a required Economics class in high school.
