Welcome .. ;)
I'm not trying to make you do, think or feel anything, so please get off your high horse.
Romney is not a Republican, weak or otherwise. He calls himself a Republican but he's more demonic-rat than anything else.
STARWISE graciously linked you to Jim's post, wherein you could readily read that Romney would be an enemy within.
I and a whole lot of others here, are TEA Party conservatives. Our values and priciples won't be compromised should the GOP-E manage to get Romney nominated.
The Republican Party will have left us and gone the way of the Whigs.
Guilty I guess. One post from months ago where I opaquely mention supporting him followed by decrying his lack of conservative credentials.
"Romney, I was backing you"
The reason why hell be an improvement: Hes not Obama.Everyone on this planet is not Obama except Obama. I'm not going to vote for the author of RomneyCare just because he isn't Obama.
I also started and finished by saying he wasn’t a conservative. I’m willing to bet I can scroll your posts and find something you said in farce and use it against you...very hard to do. All the anti Romney of the post followed by my actually supporting Santorum that day, or around the same time obviously means nothing. the passing comment is my true thoughts, not my consistent views..you I can tell are very logical.
It wasn’t farce, the largest subject of your posting seems to be attacking Palin, yet Romney gets your persistent defense and support.
As you said, you were backing him. On this thread you are fighting to persuade us to vote for him.
I won’t be voting for Mitt Romney, not now, and not if he wins the primary.
McCain was very bad. He was a cheerleader for his opposition, and he elected the current President and packed the Senate with Democrats.
Bush II was a horrible disappointment. He and his administration were a failure.
But the consequences of not electing Republicans will be far, far worse than any of this.
I will vote straight GOP for House and Senate, but NO MITT!
The consequences of not doing so will be much worse. Think carefully.
Remain calm. Keep a level head. Think carefully. Note tagline.
I will see if your claim for me and JR and the anti-Romney conservatives here as Obama supporters takes hold, somehow I doubt that.
One thing that cannot be doubted is that here you are pushing Romney on us.
After almost 6 years of close examination of the failed Governor, examination of the 2010 election when we made history and the Romney/Rockefeller branch fought us tooth and nail, even supporting the democrat over the republican nominee in some cases so that they could keep Palin and the tea party from winning, and conservatism gaining a voice, and after we have watched the long knives of the Gop Romney/Rockefeller establishment devote itself to destroying every Republican threat to the inevitability of their Romney appointment, many of us have taken a stand, we will never vote for Mitt Romney.
Yes the republican party is full of many different people, and this time the aggression from the anti-Reagan, pro-Rockefeller branch is so desperate, so burn the house down, so incredible and destructive that they have truly gone a bridge too far, we won’t be voting with you, for Romney.
Thank you, this is a great way to state the Romney problem.
Not being Obama, yet supporting all of Obama's platform is the problem. Unlike Obama, Romney will get some Republican votes when he pushes to implement Obamacare, or increase spending and taxes, or ban guns.
There was no attack of Palin, as you obviously went back and read a few of my posts, you should be smart enough to deduce that. I am not telling anyone to vote for him, my argument, as i have said in this very thread is the tearing down of a candidate to polarize your own.
Not voting for the nominee, is a vote for Obama. So if it ends up being Romney, not voting for him, is voting for Obama, and as you characterize Obama and Romney the same, you voted for Romney anyway.
I fundamentally reject the idea that Republicans should build themselves up by tearing eachother down.
Anyway, like I said i do not back Romney. Santorum/Gingrich is the ticket I want. Spin away, I am done with this.
What I saw was attacking Palin and defending Romney like you have been on this thread, I’m glad that you no longer back Romney.

Social security, medicare/medicaid, welfare and public schooling are all programs that should not financed through the government. A conservative having a conservative view now is a sign of failure? Romney, I was backing you, but this outlandish decree is nonsense.

You simply do not need all those reasons, one will do: Romney and BHO are the same.
The Turd sandwich lost by only 3% in 2008. My guess is more than 3% voters will flip in 2012. Between gas prices, unemployment (actual 17-20% not the 8.5% govt says), home foreclosures, and rise in cost of health insurance, I have to believe at least 3% are pissed off enough to flip. Then add all the young voters who are disillusioned with the “hope & change” and my guess is any republican wins unless a Ron Paul type runs 3rd party.
