President Donald Trump is one of the most controversial world leaders in modern times, igniting the ire of Americas staunchest allies.
Whether its the proposed Muslim ban, the US border wall and immigration, or his praise of authoritarian leaders, Trump is deft at inciting deep divisions among the public.
In 2018, political scientist Daniel Drezner summarized this consensus in The Washington Post: The world hates President Trump.
Data from the Pew Research Center illustrates Drezners thinking. For the residents of US allies, their confidence in the US president dropped substantially from the last year of Obamas presidency to the beginning of Trumps time in office.
So, where might Trump be popular overseas, and just where might he be electable? As a political scientist who has written about the US image abroad, this question fascinates me.

Nigeria, S. Korea, and Israel? Left of the one he is most popular in, THE USA!
Poland and Hungary.
Here. There. Everywhere.
“The world hates President Trump.
I strongly suspect it’s more of a case of the world’s GOVERNMENTS hate President Trump...
What “proposed Muslim ban”?
The world’s socialists hate President Trump. That’s the only part of the world WP cares or reports positively about.

We know from PDJTs state visit to England earlier this year that CNN is the only US news channel that makes it to England for example. So anti-PDJT media is evidently trying to destroy his credibility everywhere it can.
Nazis, communists and 50 IQ liberal apes hate Trump. Nothing wrong with that.
Only 3 - way off on that count - many many more than that!
What their governments (and their oligarch owners) hate is Trumps position on climate change and globalism. These two things take lots of American money out of their hands.
Throw in Trump's refusal to propagate the war machine thereby taking money out of the war machine makers and mercenary soldiers pockets and those voices can appear loud but only because those who agree with what Trump is doing are fairly quiet but far more numerous. The silent majority.
I bet if someone honest were to ask the citizens of those countries who supposedly "hate" Trump; they would get a very different response than this article claims. If they were asked if they want their government to put their country first like Trump does; I bet they would very much approve.
Globalism is another name for putting the worlds oligarchs in charge of everyone else. Not good on any level except the oligarch's. Not much different than communism.
Spongers always rage when you take away their freebies.
To the rest of the world: the party is over so get ready to work for a living.
This doltish "hatred of America" meme is one of the last caterwauls of the one world hegemony which afflicts Europe, and many other nations. We in America need not be apologists for our remarkable history and its exemplary freedoms.
Democratic nations have cast their futures increasingly with the populist view, and as a result we have national leaders like President Trump, Prime Minister Boris Johnson, and Brazil's Jair Bolsonaro, Prime Minister Scott Morrison of Australia, President Rodrigo Duterte of the Philippines and even non-democratic Vietnam's leader,Nguyễn Phú Trọng.All work to earn wealth and prosperity for their respective nations, and seek the peace of the nationally secure. Peace cannot come from national insecurity of nations as a result of the One World view.
No. America is not hated. It is envied. And these caterwauling dolts are blind to the difference.
When did S. Korea become an “authoritarian state”? Sadly, it’s freer than the U.S. at this point. (They don’t have all the political correctness nonsense and restrictions on what you can say and can’t say—a lot more free speech is allowed than America.)
They do love Trump in S. Korea. They regularly have pro-Trump demonstrations in Seoul on Gwanghamun Square and near Deoksugung Palace.
Hungary.
Even before the election, Viktor Orban, Hungary’s PM, was supporting Trump and when he visited the US, at Trump’s invitation, they got along great. Both want strong borders and are strongly anti-communist.
Does Hong Kong count?
Boo hoo hoo. The Yurps don’t like Trump, but loved Obama.
Gosh, I wonder if it had anything to do with Obama being their poodle just rolling over and doing anything they wanted while Trump stands up for America and calls these useless leeches out on their freeloading and hypocrisy?

As for Israel, the reason should be obvious.
Don’t believe the USA is overseas.........
