No it didn’t change in 2011.
It changed dramatically in about the early 1990s. I remember because I was an all day listener of my local PBS classical station. Heck I had play group parent friends who were local PBS correspondents and newsreaders.
It wasn’t Trump that changed them. Clinton years did it. Imho.
