Anyone able to input best locations to eat really good sushi in Austin these days. Know of a good place in Pflugerville, but haven't been in a long time. Thanks in advance.
Gas station sushi is the best.
The heck with sushi, get you some good BBQ!
I’m a poor one to ask since I’ve eaten sushi in Lagos, Nigeria. Now that takes guts!
Nice little town. I have family that lives Georgetown.. But no idea. There used to be a steak house in Georgetown that had a huge cow statue in the parking lot. That was a good place. Use the interwebs..
I imagine it took all your guts.
Wasn’t that just a minnow and soy sauce..
Best overall for value, Kura on Airport Blvd.
I love sushi! But don’t know Austin.
Here are Yelp’s ratings...

I happen to like BBQ, depending upon the day. Hard to find an adequate response, so will go with mom's advice.
I’m local. What part of town you in and I can give you a better response.
There's also a nearby BP gas station that has a sushi dispenser inside......
I think Uchiko is supposed to be one of the best Japanese in the U.S. Not just in Austin.

Sushi Zushi 5th street. It’s a chain, but they always have great sushi, and it’s also a good place to hang if you want to eat at the bar.
Top three rated on Yelp:
1. Ichi Umi Sushi
2. Sushi Junai Omakase
3. Komé
I’m not actually in town, but will be. lol.
You know you’re in Texas when they pull out the steak sushi.
There is no good place to eat shushi anywhere
In Texas, even in Austin, eat Bar B que
Yes, Kura does have that...Lol I think they have 2 steak type sushis. I’ve never ordered those. Favorites are seared scallops, salmon, tuna, crunchy hand rolls, ponzu salmon.
