Good luck - three’s no such thing as a “Lifetime Warranty

My unit is several years old and they are replacing it.

That’s a good thing - but, once again, the Craftsman warranty on tools is probably the closest to an actual lifetime warranty you’ll ever get - somewhere down the line, most companies do a “re-org” once enough of their products start having issues because the overhead becomes a liability.

I had a few windows replaced and a few years later the company did a re-org and, voila! No ore lifetime warranty - fix it yourself....
